Most likely not, but you can trade people after they breed them.

I can just imagine the town with the daycare just FLOODED with people breeding for natures.

I don't know where it was i read it, but i'm pretty sure you can catch another starter pokemon. I guess we'll all find out. I have played all of the game except for the black and white versions, so i'm really confused on what those pokemon are.

You can catch every Pokemon in the game except for all the legendary's.

Going to go with Tepig as it is the cornerstone of my current team, or I can go with Cyndaquil and catch Tepig later.

Sorry, got off topic when we started talking about catching pokemon...

I used to really like Fire pokemon, but with the current repeating of fire/fighting starters, I've liked them less and less. They have too many weaknesses.

If I were you, I'd go with Cyndaquil, but it's your choice.

I'd go with Squirtle because I think Blastoise is awesome. It is the definition of Hydro Pump.  ;D

I always go with water starters (except in Pokemon Yellow, obviously. I wish Pikachu was an option  :'( ), although I haven't played all of the games yet.
