Gotta go with Chimchar here...Feraligatr and Charizard are beasts...but Chimchar has  an amazing combination of speed and power.

Side note, in the FAQ I believe it says the other starters can be caught. On that note I'll choose Chikorita then catch Squirtle later on.

On second thought, maybe I won't choose Chikorita...I feel like its the only starter that doesn't go from cute to epic. I just don't like Meganium, it doesn't look awesome like all the other final versions of the starters...

I guess i would start off with Chimchar. I keep on changing my decisions cause i would want to start off with any of them, but i can always catch another starter pokemon as well.
