Umm...we HAVE to use them. Leaving them in the pc wouldn't do anything for them and we have to put them in battles to slightly open their hearts. Just leaving them in your party to SLOWLY open their hearts or putting them in a purification chamber would totally kill the fact that we have shadow pokemon.

well, the reverse mode isn't exactly a requirement for shadow pokemon, i just came up with an idea lol.
