What program do you use to make banners?

I would like to make banners, but alas! I don't know what program to use! Please could you tell me? Thanks alot!

I use paint. I go onto google images and get the images I want them put them together in paint.

Paint is usually good enough if you're creative...but if you're willing to learn how to use it...you can do a lot more with adobe photoshop.

Paint.NET makes it easy to edit without worrying about messing up what you already have, since it has multiple layers. plenty of special effects and whatnot, as well. It's also free to download.

Yes, Paint.NET is almost like photoshop and it's free, we suggest that.

Thanks for the ideas! I downloaded Paint.NET it works perfect! But how do I put text into my banner? It just doesn't work  Please help!

You have to be fully zoomed out. you click the text button on the side bar. when you type what you want you can move it around.

How do you put your banners on the forums to show everyone?

you either make a Photobucket account or you use tiny pic...

for speed, tiny pic. if you don't want to have to re upload them every time photobucket.

make it smaller and get rid of the black out line or just make it smaller. but very good.
