Types of pokemons
« on: May 05, 2011, 10:09:28 PM »
Hi me again, I was wondering if there will be various types of pokemon, or pokemon shiny and will only pokemon comun, there is a brief sample of existing types of Pokemon.

************************************************************************

Normal
These Pokémon are most common. They have no abilities.

A Normal Pikachu.

************************************************************************

Metallic
Cannot be effected by status like burn, poison, confusion, sleep, and freeze. This ability is nullified by Shadow Pokémon.

A Metallic Pikachu.

************************************************************************

Ghostly
When a Ghostly Pokémon attacks, they have a chance of making the other Pokémon flinch. This ability is nullified by Shadow Pokémon.

  A Ghostly Pikachu.

************************************************************************

Shadow
Metallic and Ghostly abilities do not affect this type. IE: Metallics can be affected by status if the Shadow Pokémon has a status move. Shadow Pokémon won't flinch from Ghostly Pokémon.

A Shadow Pikachu.

************************************************************************

Dark
Every attack that hits the opponent has 25% more power to it.

A Dark Pikachu.

************************************************************************

Shiny
A Shiny Pokémon has 25% more HP. IE: A normal Pokémon has 400 HP but a Shiny Pokémon has 500 HP.

A Shiny Pikachu.

************************************************************************

Mirage
The ability of Mirage pokemon changes depending on the opponent's type. 20% more attack against Dark. Gains 20% HP against Shiny. Copies the ability of Ghostly and Metallic pokemon when fighting against them. Onfacing Shadow pokemon, it transfers all its ailments to the opponent (If your pokemon is poisoned, it heals itself and poisons the opponent). And finally Mirage Pokemon lose 10% health against normal pokemon.

A Mirage Pikachu.

The Team has said before that they won't be adding extra types/forms that aren't already in the existing games.

the only one that will be in is shinny, but it won't have increased HP.

Yeah... it's only shiny. No additional stat changes.
