The FEAR strategy
(1/1)
Yume Tsuki:
I think most people knows this kind of cheap way to finish off a last pokémon.
For those who don't know this combination: I'm talking about a level 1 with focus sash, endeavor and quick attack/suckerpunch.
Yes, they are easily counterable. But only if you have a pokémon with a priority move, one that induces status effects, or your last pokémon has to be a Ghost type.
Remove this problem or not?
zylonnick:
Than you obviously haven't met a Lvl 1 Aron with a Shell Bell and the Sturdy ability in a sandstorm. They can't be taken down that easily as a stupid FEAR rattata or something alike. These are cheap tricks but most people can stop them.
Kamaran:
Isn't the solution easy?
* Don't give Aron the sturdy ability.
* Don't let Rattata be able to learn any of the moves above by TM/Breeding.

Let Aron have Sturdy, take his Endeavor.
Rattata isn't really an issue normally.
Noah_Road:
The Aron FEAR strategy shouldn't work in PU. It only works in PO because everyone has a team of lv100s and is able to run sandstorm easily. Once again, pokemon mmo's are a world of scarcity and the Shell Bell already being a rare item makes it even more harder to find. I doubt anyone is going to be able to get all 3 components since Endevor is an egg move for Aron anyway. Actually I doubt you'll see this strategy at all.
EDIT: Easiest way to counter it in the mmo would be either using a ghost type, taking its shell bell, or burning it.
