Other Roleplay / Re: [OOCC] Poisoned Utopia

Just checking, by caravan do you mean they'd be in 4 different vehicles, 4 guys on 1 vehicle, or just 4 guys with supplies on their backs?  Or is it up to me to decide this for myself?

And danke all.

Alright, I edited my post to match up with that, Cortex.  Thankfully it was only a minor little thing, nothing too big to be done.

18
A large mass of fur and flesh moved slowly beneath the "shade" of a decrepit tree, the bare branches offering little protection from the sun.  A barren waste of rocks and infertile soil stretched out for a good distance in all directions.  A sense of lonlieness carpeted the land just like the barren soil.  For all any could tell, this mutated looking bear was the only life for a mile or two.

With no queue at all, an ear flickered and the bear's eyes opened as he turned his head in a direction.  His nostrils flared as he scented the wind that had rolled through.  There was something so delicious about what he could smell, and considering how little food there was in this place a chance like this was godsend.   Urs didn't care to figure out what this attractive scent was, all he knew was it was food and food meant he would live through another day.  He wasted no time in walking slowly after the direction the wind was blowing, his ravenous appetite growing with each step.  He was now starting to pick apart the scents he had caught so he would know what he was about to be dining upon.  Humans?  Apparently a small group.  Urs wasn't hungry enough to eat a person... He was still human in soul and likely would never bring himself to the level needed to cross that line.  No, what he was interested in was the scent of the food they were transporting.  There was more than enough food so Urs wouldn't even have to get a full in attack.  But it was strange for people to just be carrying food...

It didn't matter what their purpose was, from what Urs could tell that these humans just had too much.  These men were just begging to be attacked and have a couple pounds of food go missing.   Urs just happened to be lucky contestant number 1 in the likely list of attacks on the caravan.  Hopefully the men wouldn't be foolish enough to risk their own neck to try and stop the bear from accomplishing his goal.  Urs certainly wouldn't be able to sneak up on them, seeing as he walked on two legs with a hulking body.  They'd see him coming but the question was what could they do to stop him once he got down on all fours and charged?   Urs was putting a little thought into this attack seeing as he actually had time to plan ahead, but his instinctive brain didn't tell him to do much other than run in with claws and fangs bared to scare off the humans, and then make off with as much food as he could grab.

Hey um, just checking so burr doesn't post and look like a complete fool... but what part of morning is it?   Burr is checking because he doesn't want to post and say something like "the sun was fully out in the sky now" when it's supposed to only be sunrise or vice versa.

Also, thanks for the warm welcome y'all~

Games / Re: Pokemon black and white...2
« on: February 26, 2012, 08:20:40 PM »
I don't understand all the hatred.  We've only seen two of the Pokemon there.  And if this is a 2 then that means the story will be different than the first, so obviously that means they thought of other things for you to do than play through the same story again.  And they must have gotten a completely new story to follow the past game's plot.  Perhaps you'll be a totally different character and you encounter Bianca, Cher, Hilda, and Hilbert.  From my memory, Resh and Zek were supposed to be Yin and Yang, while Kyurem represents the Void.  So perhaps in this game the "void" is taking over the realm?   Judging by all the ice in their banner thingy I'm guessing that everything is freezing over, etc.  Perhaps you'll be helping Kyurem in this task and you'll be playing the role of the corrupted hero that is trying to purify the world and end up freeing Kyurem to freeze of the world, but then realize your mistake and then must journey through a chaotic Unova to set things right?  The possibilities are out there for a very interesting game, and all we've gotten was a title and two pictures of new Kyurem forms to go off of that we don't find appealing, so the bashing begins before anyone could even consider how cool this game might actually be.

@ Jerry
Actually, no not really.  Most of my things would be considered "scraps"  I guess, so I don't see much point in posting them up.  Though like Kouen I dabble a little into the "sigs" and stuff of the type, so I guess I'll probably post them up in the Art Work section.... some day....
And most of the time friends just throw lineart at me and ask me to color it.  X3  My wobbly hands are no good at lines.

@Kouen
Yes, the pair as classic as Mario and Luigi are together again.  >|D

@Reafer
Sure, I guess I can show the one doodle I can find that's been scanned.  Erm... though I'd have to put in the art work section I think....?  So it'll be a while before it's seen, sorry.  ^^;

Once again, thanks for the warm welcomes.  Hope to get the ropes of this place very soon and not be in a shell for half the year.  :U

Just a random little question, and I hope I am not intruding or doing this wrong...
But you have it shown where a Pokemon that isn't initially of a type but can evolve to that type is allowed on a team of corresponding type... but what about someone like Castform?  If I'm right his type changes when in weather, so would he be allowed on teams of types that correspond with weather?

Ack, no!  Cannibals.  x3
Thanks for the warm welcome everyone, and I have to ask... balance server?  I have not the slightest clue as to what that is.  Hence why I did a quick trek of exploring and discovered it... guess I'll try when able, seems interesting~

What, food?  Oh right.  I'm the fresh meat.  Um, well yeah.  I'm the one and only GoldenBurr, burr for short.  Pokemon graced me from the moment I found out how to press the power button, and even though I'm not a devout fan I make it a point to enjoy it to this day.  Not sure what else to say... Just glad to be here.

---edit below---

Also, to conform to this forums standards better... I happen to be trying to get into college, as tough as a challenge it's turning out to be.  @3@  Planning to get in psychology as a major, though currently am clueless as to my goals.  Unemployed as well... though I'm job hunting too.  I happen to enjoy being lazy, and really my preferences are for anything.  I doodle, write, and pretty much dabble into everything.  I also know how to build things thanks to carpentry, so yeah.  I can officially build sheds!
