Fan Fiction & Writing / The Wishes Of The Bear And The Bird(Joke)
« on: January 05, 2013, 03:16:08 AM »
Here is another Joke i grew up with. I have heavely modefied it to my own ideas and thoughts but just as "Blowing Bubbles" the ending stays the same. I enjoyed the time i spent with it and i hope you all enjoy this piece and take no offence to it simply because it is what it is a "JOKE".

The Wishes Of The Bear And The Bird

An Ursaring was chasing this Delibird around in the valley of Forina for the honey in its bag.
They ran into a cavern and were running around a certain huge redwood where Jirachi slumbered.

Jirachi awoke and got so tired of the racket that it finally came down and told the pair that it would go against its rule of only granting 1 wish per thousand years and grant them 3 wishes a piece if they would just leave it alone. The pair agreed.

The Ursaring said he would go first. "I wish...that all the bears in this valley were female."
And Jirachi granted the wish. The Delibird just grinned and asked for a helmet.

The Ursaring thought that strange but continued. "I wish...that all the bears in this Region to be female!" And Jirachi granted the wish. The Delibird just grinned again and wished for a motorcycle. He jumped on the bike, put on his helmet and started gunning it.

The Ursaring looked at the Delibird and said, "You must be the stupidest pokemon I ever met!"
Then he asked for his last wish. "I wish...that all the bears in the world to be female!"
And Jirachi granted the wish. The Delibird just grinned and said, "I wish the bear was gay.”

Here is a modefied verison of a joke i grew up with. I changed a few things around but the joke's ending remains the same. Hope you laugh and enjoy this awsome piece.

Blowing Bubbles

There were three psyducks swimming in a restricted pond one night after midnight and got arrested and caught by officer Jenny for trespassing.
They were called to appear in Pokemon court the next day so Judge N called up psyduck #1 and asked what were you doing in a restricted pond swimming after midnight the psyduck said "blowing bubbles"
So then Judge N called up psyduck #2 and asked the same question and the second psyduck said "blowing bubbles".
Then Judge N called up psyduck #3 and said let me guess you were blowing bubbles in the pond to!!!!!!! and the third psyduck said "No i am BUBBLES"

Fan Fiction & Writing / Legend Of The Dragon And The Wail
« on: January 04, 2013, 09:28:30 AM »
Hello everyone!! Happy New Years!!!!! I hope you all had a wonderful time over the Holidays. Anyways I have finally gotten the time to complete the first part of Dragon and the Wail. I've been working on this for the past couple months and with College it's been hard to have the time to complete it. Anyways Here is Part of the this story and i hope you all enjoy.

Legend Of The Dragon And The Wail Part 1

3000 years ago the island of Upo’o flourished with palm trees as tall as the sky’s and forest’s that played wondrous melodies as you would sleep in the night a tune of joy and happiness. Back in ancient times all islands were inhabited by natives and as such tribal warfare was common among the isles of Sungivai.

In those times all but two islands in Sungivai were at war for more territory to control. The Island of Vai’taku was actually feared by all other islands for its sheer size and army of powerful ghost pokemon. 300 years ago prior to the events of the dragon and the whale, the power of Vai’taku was tested when 600 double hulled Rutu’o’an war canoes, with a total of 100,900 Rutu’o’an warriors and Dragonite pulled into Vai’taku’s Vai’lima bay with only one resolution in mind, the complete annihilation and takeover of the Island and its natives. That legendary battle was called “The Devourers Feast” For when the Vai’takuan High Chief Humu’humu’apua’a’kamaika’wiwo’ole came into battle with his legendary ghost pokemon known as Po the Destroyer, they single handedly slaughtered all Rutu’o’an warriors sparing only Dragonites that would flee, leaving the opposing High Chief Tamasese Ava’sei’a and his prized Legendary Red Dragonite left standing.

High Chief Humu quickly subdued the powerful Red Dragonite and ordered Tamasese to bow before his might and overwhelming power, for that may whatever sympathy Humu had left, he may let Tamasese live in exile. But stubborn was Tamasese who spit in the face of Humu stating “No matter how powerful the enemy, the Dragon always Devoures it’s prey” and with that High Chief Humu cut Tamasese into 100 pieces and force fed the Rutu’oan High Chief’s remains to his prized Red Dragonite known as Fa’a’ule the Devourer. Never again in history was Vai’taku’s might challenged again.

Upo’o was a pacifist island wanting no part of the violence and as such remained a neutral island for 1000 years, only leaving when it came to trade between Vai’taku.
The islands of Rutu’oa which trained Dragonites, and Lu’kuka who trained Wailords, were two rival islands that had been fighting for more than 500 years. Upo’o was unfortunate to be the only island located in between the warmongering Rutu’oa and Lu’kuka. Upo’o had always remained untouched and enjoyed its peaceful way of life. But all that was soon too change the day the moon covered the sun, while the winds blew a cold deathly chill threw out the isles. It was that day a Dragonite fell from the sky, and a Wailord washed onto the Shores of Upo’o. A Grandmother and her Granddaughter lived in a hut on the beach not too far from the injured pokemon.

They offered the two pokemon herbal medicine and care. At first the two seemed troublesome to control seeing as how they were still bitter towards one another from their earlier battles. If it was not for the interference and care of the young girl the two pokemon would have surly killed one another. It was her kindness and love that ceased the fighting; and after she had calmed their hearts, she tended to their wounds. For three days the moon covered the sun, and for three days the Grandmother and Granddaughter tended to their new guests, until finally on the forth day they were fully healed.

The two pokemon roared in excitement as they thanked the kind old women and child.
The Dragonite and Wailord offered to stay and serve them but the old women knew all too well if they stayed their masters would come looking for them. It was then that Dragonite telepathically explained to them that their masters had killed each other during battle and that they were left to finish what was started. Dragonite insisted that they stay but the old women knew that matters of this scale would turn grim for Upo’o if a Dragonite and Wailord were found on the Island with both masters deceased. As much as she wanted them apart of their little family she knew it could never be. She told them they could always visit and would always have a place to eat and rest if ever they were left astray, and with that the two pokemon prepared departure.

As they set off the little girl waved to the Dragonite shouting “Never to forget her, and that no matter what they would always be one with the heart”, for she and the Dragonite had grown attached to one another over the past four days she spent tending to their wounds. The Grandmother had also shouted to the Wailord “No matter how far you may be, the ocean will keep us as one.” And with that the two pokemon departed promising to come back with bountiful gifts of fine mats made of gold, jewelry made of diamonds and the purest of pearls, unfortunately for the old women a native spotted the two pokemon and without hesitation rushed to the Village of Po’rungu where the Head Chief and Chief Elders resided to inform them of the unfortunate news. Once informed Head Chief Pau’pulei fell in despair for he Believed Upo’o’s 1000 years of peace was threatened with the kindness the Old women and her granddaughter showed towards the Pokemon of Rutu’oa and Luku’ka. Pau’pulei sent word out for the summon of the old women in hopes he could come to a decision on how to handle the situation with further detail from the Grandmother who’s kindness might very well be the downfall of the island of Upo’o.

The Old Women caught wind of her summoning and journeyed to the village with her granddaughter. Once she arrived she immediately informed the Head Chief that there was nothing to worry about, and that the two pokemon were kind and said they would bring back bountiful treasures, she stated if they do return it will be in great gratitude and she would kindly give the villages her bounty for she would have no need for such things.

As the Head Chief smiled in relief the Chief elders were not so convinced Upo’o was safe. They insisted that Rutu’oa and Lu’kuka were savage like in nature and that they could very well bring war upon their shores. A Meeting followed between Pau’pulei and Elders regarding what plans should be made to keep the people of the Island safe incase of an invasion. After intense waiting they announced that the village would journey to Vai’taku leaving the old women to serve as the ambassador of Upo’o. If Rutu’oa and Lu’kuka do return with gratitude and reward’s then the villagers would return, if not, and the island is taken over, then they will have no choice but to leave Upo’o, their wondrous and peaceful home forever.

While the Upo’oans depart for Vai’taku Pau’pulei gives the old women and the young girl a ruby and sapphire necklace, for truly these were enchanted with magical powers. The Head Chief explained to them that if ever they would be in danger and the fall of Upo’o was imminent all they would need to do is throw the ruby into the air or the sapphire into the sea and it would reunite with the Head Chiefs own Emerald necklace. He further explained that escape precautions were already set for the Grandmother and her granddaughter should hostility arise with an escape boat on the eastern side of the island waiting for them. And with that Pau’pulei and the rest of Upo’o set off into the sunset for Vai’taku.

To Be Continued.....

Hello all you poke'mon fans it's been almost two years since I've been gone from the forms and happy to be back. I'm posting one of my poke'mon story's i posted on the fan fiction & writing forums almost two years ago which has been refined and tuned with the story remaining the same as the original just tweaked and what not.

The original post can be found here if you would wanna read the original writing http://pokemon-universe.com/index.php/topic,585.0.html

Story

It is said that when a pokemon dies of a broken heart a Gastly is formed into the world of the living. Legend has it that the very first Gengar was formed Millions of years ago after a mother Kangaskhan lost her baby during birth. The other mother Kangaskhan shunned and brutally attacked her near death moments after the loss of her child forcing her to flee away from her own herd.

They all roared in anger as she stumbled down a hill with her deceased baby in her pouch shouting “she was not worthy to come back after the loss of her khanling”. The farther she fled, the more she grieved until finally she could move no longer. Exhausted and weak she losses all power in her legs and begins to fall to the ground. The lifeless khanling falls out of her pouch and tumbles away from her finally resting near a rock.

She knows she is dying after the brutal attacks from her fellow  Kangaskhans. As her life begins to fade she hears a terrible sound, the sound of an Aerodactyl approaching. Powerless and on the brink of death she watches in terror as the Aerodactyl devours the corpes of her baby. The mother kangaskhan tries with all her might to get up and seek retribution against the fearsome predator but to no avail falls to the ground for the very last time. She sheds her last tear and dies of a broken heart. As her sprit began to leave her body to the afterworld rage, hate and vengeance bounded her soul to the world of the living forming into an entity like no other.

The shadows combined while the darkness swept over the land, laughter could be heard from the soul that was surrounded by shadows until finally forming into the worlds first Ghost pokemon. The blood remains of the devoured baby were painted on the eyes of this supernatural entity as it attacked and killed the Aerodactyl fueled by nothing but hate and rage for the souls of the living. The ghostly figure stood atop the corpse of the lifeless Aerodactyl making a promise under a full moon that it and all other Gengar after it will forever torment the souls of the living and laugh at there fear for all eternity.

As time past this Legendary story of the first ghost pokemon faded into history until finally being forgotten by all but one village located on an island called Vaitaku. That village specializes in ghost type pokemon and story has it that the very first chief of the village thousands of years ago  owned a Gengar. The elders say it was that Gengar that told the first chief the story of the first ever ghost pokemon, with that exact story being passed down from generation to generation. That is my story I tell to you viewers, thank you for reading and I hoped you enjoyed, I leave my last words to you readers “Only time itself will tell, to what becomes of the broken hearted”………

Hope you enjoyed and also happy to be back, I'm working on a new story titled "Legend of the Dragon and the Whale" a story focusing on the bond and love between a young girl and her grandmother traped in a world filled with warring islands and the brutal use of poke'mon in an age defined by nothing but power and control.

Quests & Plots / The Isles of Sungivai Chain Quest
« on: March 13, 2010, 11:44:43 PM »
Alright thank you for being here i hope you enjoy this chain quest, and i wish you all good luck with Spirit's quest contest. There are three parts to it hence way it's called a chain quest, before you start reading here i highly advise that you read another one of my ideas i posted on Ideas & Suggestions in the Game Features section called "The Isles of Sungivai". Why you say? because it tells the story/bio of Sungivai isles which will be featured in the chain quest. So reading it will give you a better understanding of the location, backstory and such. Here is the link to it http://pokemon-universe.com/index.php/topic,592.msg7368.html#msg7368 Once you have read it then you may choose to read another one of my story's called "Legend of the first ghost pokemon" which is one of the leagends told in Sungivai isles. Here's the link to that http://pokemon-universe.com/index.php/topic,585.0.html Now you dont have to read that story if you don't want too but again i highly advise you read "The isles of Sungivai" so that you have a better understanding of what's going on in this chain quest enjoy!!!!!!!!!

Part 1 Begin

Quest Name: Howz It Braddah!!!!!

Requirements to start quest/except it: Must have no less then 17 gym badges from the Miryus region, and have been in the top 3 or have won the Miryus region Pokémon League, also must have defeated the Brutal Five.

Quest Description

Hey howz it braddah, you must be “Name of the trainer”. Brah I heard you defeated the Brutal five, good job braddah good job. It takes plenty of courage to go up against the five. It even takes great power and the understanding of pokemon to have defeated all of them too. You know what braddah? I think you have what it takes to journey to the isles of Sungivai and defeat the Brutal Fives old master, who’s gym is located up at Mount. Destiny. So tell me “Name of the trainer”, you think you have what it takes to defeat the Brutal Fives old master?

*The player is then given a choice to say yes? or no?*

*The text for No*
Oh braddah thats to bad, I really felt great manna in you. Ok then “Name of the trainer” comeback when you think you got what it takes farewell……

*The text for Yes*
Thats what I like to hear, alright Mount. Destiny is located on the island of Vaitaku where I’m from braddah, but the thing is there are giant whirlpools that surround Vaitaku making it almost impossible to get past, unless you are one of the navigators of the island, which I’m not. The only way us Vaitakuians get on and off the island is by 1 of 2 things. 1 we fly over the whirlpools with our ghost pokemon, because using any other kind of air flight will cause the whirlpools to suck in whatever is in the sky. Or 2, by teleportation rings the Vaitakuians & ghost pokemon created to allow us to travel back and forth, on and off the island. The problem is a Snorlax is sitting on my ring, haha don’t ask braddah how that when happen and I didn’t bring my pokemon with me when I left the island, so as you can see braddah I’m in a bit of a bind. Using your pokemon to help move the snorlax should solve that problem. So how about it “Name of the trainer” are you ready to help a braddah out?

*The Player is again given a choice to say yes? or no?*

*The text for No that will continue to repeat itself until you say yes*
Oh braddah you’re really bumming me out, you sure you don’t want to help a braddah out?

*The text for Yes*
That’s what I’m talking about “Name of the trainer”

Quest Reward “xxxxx Amount Of Coins/Money”
Accept quest Yes? No?

Once the player accepts, the quest giver will tell the Player to meet him at “What ever the name of the closest beach is, where the Snorlax is located”. Once there you will talk to him again completing the first part of this chain quest receiving your reward for it and then talking to him again in order to start the second part of the chain quest.

Part 1 Complete

Part 2 Begin

Quest Name: Men In Black???

Requirements to start quest/except it: Completing quest “Howz It Braddah!!!!!”

Quest Description

Oh boy, we’re in trouble “Name of the trainer”. You see that Snorlax over there? That’s him, but it looks like those men in black are still here, sigh. Ok “Name of the trainer” I think I should tell you what really happened. You see this beach is the Vaitakuian main teleporting destination location to go back and forth to Vaitaku and “What ever the name of this island is that they are on. I’m guessing it’s one of the main islands that have a city/town and gym”. I’ve gone back and forth many times without any kind of problem, but the last two times I used this teleport destination those men in black were watching me. I originally came here to deliver a pokemon that our spirit doctor healed for a friend that lives not to far from here but those guys in black attacked me with they’re pokemon, the only one I had on me was the healthy pokemon that was just healed, so I used him. I know what your thinking braddah and yes it is that Snorlax. When I called him out I took the time to hide in back of Snorlax and plant the ring under him guessing that’s what they wanted was the ring. I would have used it then to escape but it has a 15min wait time after using it to teleport somewhere braddah. I told the Snorlax I’d be back with some help and here you are “Name of the trainer”, don’t get mad braddah I hope you understand and help me. Will you help me?

*The player is then given a choice to say yes? or no?

*The text for No that will continue to repeat itself until you say yes*
Braddah this is no time to play around will you help me?

*The text for Yes*
I knew you wouldn’t let me down braddah. Ok here’s the plan, I need you to go distract and defeat those four men in black while I go retrieve the ring from Snorlax. Come talk to me when you’re finished with them braddah.

Quest Reward “Vaitakuian Teleportation Ring”

Accept quest Yes? No?

Okay once you accept the quest you will have to confront the men in black who are actually Team Rocket. Now I will not get into Specifics on the battle the player will have with Team Rocket. That is for me and the PU Quest/NPC writer Sprit to know if my chain quests are one of the few picked for future installment in PU, I can’t go telling you guys everything lol that would just spoil the surprise. I will say this one of the four is a very high elite commander that’s only second to Giovanni himself. After you have defeated the four in battle you will return to the quest giver, turn it in and receive your reward for it and then talk to him again to start the final part of this chain quest.

Part 2 Complete

Part 3 Begin

Quest Name: Entry Into Ghost Isles

Requirements to start quest/except it: Completed quest “Men In Black”

Quest Description
You have done a great deed braddah, and I am glad to have met such a great trainer such as yourself. Take the ring “Name of the trainer” and walk over to the purple sand mound. Stand on it and rub the ring two times, it will teleport you to my home in Popoapu Village located on the island of Vaitaku. Once there let my family know I am alright and you are a friend of mine, look for my brother and ask him to send my Haunter with another teleportation ring to me. I will stay here and deliver this Snorlax to its rightful trainer. I thank you again “Name of the trainer” and I hope to see you on Vaitaku in the near future farewell friend.

Quest Reward: “Entry into Sungivai Isles and an xxxxx Amount Of Coins/Money”

Accept quest Yes? No?

Once you accept, stand on the purple mound and an option will appear asking if you want to rub the ring two times, press yes and you will have teleported to Popoapu Village on the island of Vaitaku located in the Sungivai isles. Once in the quest givers home turn in the quest to his brother, where you will have told him what happened thus completing the quest and receiving your reward. After that, leave the home and explore the island of Vaitaku which will have many other quests to keep you busy.

Part 3 Complete

Chain Quest Complete

Alright i hope you all enjoyed and again good luck and much love to all the people that are participating in Spirit's Quest contest i wish you all the best.

Game Features / The Isles of Sungivai
« on: March 12, 2010, 03:20:15 PM »
I've been working on the story for my new isles idea that i'd like to see added to PU, I'm a great storyteller and i love to create great story's, so I'm hoping in the future my work here is useful to the PU team. I am also prepared to have a drawn out map of Sungivai so that the PU team have a better understanding of the look and Structure of the isles. Before i start the story, here's the link to another one of my story's called "Legendary Story Of The First Ghost Pokemon" which is one of the legend's told on Vaitaku island in Sungivai isles, so it does have relation to the story you are about to read here.

Legend Of The First Ghost Pokemon Link http://pokemon-universe.com/index.php/topic,585.0.html

Alright hope you enjoy the story/biography of The Isles of Sungivai

The Isles of Sungivai also nicknamed “Ghost Isles” is located in the south pacific within the Miryus region. There are a total of 8 islands with only 1 of the 8 being inhabited by humans. That island is called Vaitaku, and the natives that live there are called Vaitakuians. Out of the 8 lslands of the Isles of Sungivai, Vaitaku is the largest and most lively of the rest.

The traditional “vaitakuian way” remains a strong force in vaitakuian life and the natural energy of the island, Vaitaku maintains its historical customs, While many if not all of the other isles in the Miryus region have built citys and advanced technology on their islands, Vaitaku has not. You will not find pokemon Centers or Pokemarts on the island ether, for centuries the Vaitakuians have used other methods of healing there pokemon called “spiritual healing” which only spirit doctors on the island can perform, threw the use of “Manna” which the people of the island describe as being a form of supernatural energy in Vaitakuian religion that inheres in all things.

For your trainer needs such as purchasable items or pokeballs you would have to talk to the village’s master navigator/trader who journeys all the regions collecting many items all over the world. Vaitaku also has it’s own gym, located on the highest mountain on the island and in the Miryus region called Mount. Destiny. Let it be known that the Vaitaku gym is not an official gym or is in anyway connected to the official Pokémon League Commission and there official 17 gyms located on other isles in the Miryus region.

Trainers simply journey to the Isles of Sungivai to see if they are worthy and able to defeat “High Chief Mafaofao, solevai, tosonafanua, kefefemanoana” who is said to have trained “The Brutal Five” long ago. Out of the 950 trainers that have journeyed to Mount. Destiny, only 3 have made it to the top, only to have been utterly defeated. Vaitakuians are deeply spiritual and religious people, such as the ancient beliefs that continue to co-exist side-by-side with the ghost pokemon that also inhabit Sungivai Isles.

Particularly in regard to the traditional customs and rituals of “the Vaitakuian way” the Vaitakuian culture is centered around the relationships between people and pokemon. These relationships are based on respect, trust and loyalty, when ghost pokemon journeyed to Sungivai isles thousand of years ago most Vaitakuians welcomed them, unlike the other isles which were scared and didn’t want them around. Currently 98% of the population identify themselves as ghost pokemon trainers/breeders.

Alright so far that is the base story/bio i created for The Isles Of Sungivai. Of course if i can get enough support from our PU community, hopefully our great PU team will pay more thought into making Sungivai Isles come to life in the PU. If that happens then i will spend more time refining and evolving  this story & such to that it can adapt in PU. Thank you all for reading and i hope you all enjoyed faaaa!!!!!!!!

Also here's a better understanding of how the isles look and where the islands are located.

New Trainers / Welcome / Saleboi introduction
« on: March 09, 2010, 09:17:55 PM »
Hello people, i am happy to see such a lively forum. Anyway names Salesi Teisina and I'm of Polynesian decent. I come from the island of Samoa and the kingdom of Tonga both islands are located in the Polynesian triangle. I grew up around games & cartoons, anime etc, and pokemon was one of those things i grew up with. I spent most of my teen years playing the handheld games "btw yellow verison was my first pokemon game" and collecting the cards using them to battle other friends i knew that also collected the pokemon cards. The first pokemon i ever saw was a Gengar, after that it became my favorite pokemon and i specialized in Ghost pokemon in general. Long story short I'm 21 years old now and currently going to the International Academy of Design & Technology studying to become a video gamer creator. When I'm not in school i spend my time playing video games etc. It's been awhile since I've did anything pokemon related so when i saw a preview of Pokemon Universe on youtube which was posted by NintendoPalkia i was hooked on finding more information on it. I found its main site and signed up, im happy to see such a lively community and would be happy to be apart of it ty for reading all of this lmfao i know it was alot.
