Alright, most of what is going to be shown has not been seen by the community and some staff. There are a lot of things and developments in the art department, that will be released in small segments. The purpose of this competition is to lower my work load and get the community more involved. I think this should be in announcements, but I'll let the big guys figure that out. Now let me get to it.

I'm going to release the male sprite in this thread, and allow the community to paperdoll them. There are 12 positions, at the moment, that need to be paperdolled. The rules are simple, as followed:

- You will only be allowed one entry. You may substitute an old entry for a new one.

- You may use any palette, but it will be judged on how well it blends, creativity, and uniqueness.

- Try to stick to 3-4 shades of one color. You can use as many colors you want.

- You will have two weeks to create a fully paperdolled male sprite. Then a community poll will began. The top three entries at the end of the one week poll, will then be sent to the staff to make the final decision, and the winner "could possibly" have a position in the art department as a Paperdoll Artist.

Why not every week post a random screenshot? Sure there isn't much to show but if it was only once a week, let's say perhaps once every 10 or 15 days, accompanied by a short description of what's been going on in development.

This will most likely happen after the tiles are in order and some others are created. This is mostly my fault at the moment. I'm still trying to get Internet at the moment. Lol

Achievements would be something that would be released later in the development of the game. I think in game achievements would be neat. But this hasnt really been established much in the development so far. Well see though.

@Bryan, that will be great! I was planning to implement the sprites at the end of next week, if they are ready. I just need a few of them though, only for test purposes yet. Now I'm busy to redesign the layout of the NPC editor, to meet Mr_dark's plan he had in mind.

And yes, the development is going great team, carry on! :D
New character sprites have been given to Mr_Dark, I am now making separate image files for eyes, and kind of like a template to follow. I'll have these by Sunday. I am still touching up the tiles, they may take a little bit. But will be releasing them here soon, and I'll just touch them up as we develop.

Well I'll have the sprites ready here, tomorrow or later tonight. I'm also trying to make sure I have all the terrain tiles compiled into one graphics sheet. Its just hard because the way I work in the first place, I have things scattered all over my computer. It good to hear that everyone is working.

I also need to work with Kam, to get the tileset right. Well see here in a bit.

I'm 24. Actually just turned 24 in January. I believe Mr_Dark did as well. I've been playing since Blue, my first Pokemo remember I never changed out my starter. So Charizard was level 80+ before I fought the elite four. All my other Pokes were 40-60. Lol. Memories.

Farmers should have a bug attack mini event. Just simple battling of bug Pokemon to protect your farms.
For researcher's it should be data destruction caused by voltorbs.

That would be interesting. Little Pokemon related games. Hmmm...
