The title is misleading. At least change it so people don't get the wrong idea.

The concept is fine and has potentail. Certain Teams are in different regions right? Maybe if we have something like...whichever region your in, you could help the team that is placed in that region out by doing quest for them and gain reputation with that faction.

I don't know if this is possible but i thought it would be a neat feature . In the real pokemon series we have the pokemon thieves Team Rocket . So why not make a Team Rocket of our own ? Players will have the option of joining either the dark side or the good side after they earn 3 badges . Those in the dark side will have the option of stealing pokemon BUT they cannot just steal a pokemon just like that . They will have to defeat the player 3 or 5 times in a row and after defeating the player they will have the option of taking any 1 of the pokemon the player is carrying . Players of the dark side will also have different clothes so that players can know who is who .

Then there is the good side who will also have different clothes and have the ability to retake the stolen pokemon . If a player has had his/her pokemon stolen then he/she can just takedown the name of the user who stole it and then the Good doer will fight ,and retake the pokemon from the player even if it is in the pc . Also only if the player is missing the pokemon can he/she retake the pokemon . For completing these quests the good doers get justice points which will allow them to buy certain very valuable items ( don't know what they are . I leave that up to the PU staff ) and the same goes for the bad guys only they earn heck points .

You totally caught be off guard. It started out great..letting us players choose which side we want. Than you just went a whole new direction with the stealing pokemon idea.

Lets break it down and see whats wrong with that.

-After a completion of stealing the pokemon, bad team will not want to duel that person again

-Majority of players would want to side with the bad team because of the advantage they get.
Example: stealing pokemon

-Good team does not benefit from any this taking back pokemon idea(See above)

-Really? 3 or 5 times? Knowing that the bad team beats you 2 or 4 times, you would not want to duel that team a 3rd or 5th time.

-This justice points can be abused with simply beating eachother and trading back eachothers pokemon while still getting justice points.

-As another poster noted...Bad team can always give away the pokemon they stole.

Yes, you will be allowed to trade pokemon and items. You are also allowed to sell your pokemon and items(auction house I believe)

I meant no npc's not people and I still think it could be done. This was my first idea for a quest,so for future ideas can you give me like a do's and dont's ,so I know what could work and what defiantly wont.

Here, let me tell you what is wrong. Since you still don't know.

You arrive at a city (insert name here) and you notice that its empty ,and all the houses doors are locked. Finally you go to the pokemon center even the nurse is gone.In the center of the city there is a big radio station,when you make it to the station you try to go in but the door is locked,and when you try to walk away you here a jiggly puff and you fall asleep. When you wake up the town is crowded with people and is a normal city.

The problem with this is...PU is an MMO. For example...what happens when you complete it and another person hasn't yet? You both will see different towns which is impossible unless...what Mr Dark said, you need to enter an instance for it to happen.

Where to start.....

I think it would be awesome if some of the people in between city's that you can fight will be real people.

This would not work. We need someone that can be available to battle 24/7. Thats what npc are for.

I am just spit balling here so don't just shoot it down like all my other ideas this one has a lot of room for alteration and will be difficult to work into the game but would definitely be worth it.

And you wonder why people shoot it down so easily. You just "spitball" it without giving it much thought. Try to think of an idea and do a pros and cons of it. That way, you'll have a better chance of people agreeing with you instead of rejecting your idea.

Thinking about what you said i think i found a story. There is a stream that ends in the lake inside the grotto. Due to different circumstances there is only female magikarp there. In the beginning of this stream however is a whole bunch of male gyarados who won't go downstream and the female magikarp are too weak to swim upstream. That's when the NPC asks the trainer to catch a magikarp and train it to be a gyarados. After the trainer defeats the NPC, he tells the trainer to go upstream and catch a male gyarados so he can breed them and bring back a male magikarp to mate with the females spreading the magikarp population. Maybe if this ques is hard it can be the way to obtain waterfall. (just an idea)   

Male gyrados mating with female magikarps? Why do you have to defeat the npc? you never explained that.

It could go something like this:

You see a few people outside a cave pacing themsleves. You talk to one of the npc and he tells you a story of how much stronger the ancestors of magikarp is compared to today's and that long lived majikarps can leap high enough using splash to jump over mountains. The man than tells you he is a scientist and him and his crew were studying the magikarps until some thieves snuck in and stole the magikarps. And while in the process, they angered one and it evolved into a gyrados which made them flee leaving a handful of magikarps behind. Now the scientist can't study the magikarps because the gyrados is guarding them and will not let any human or pokemon in. The npc gives you a quest that requires you to go into the cave and defeat the gyrados. And for proof, bring him the gyrados scale.

This can lead to a chain of quest. Like maybe you'll find out that an underworld organization are after all the magikarps to evolve them into gyrados to rule the sea.

If this sounds good but too short, I can make it longer.

Yeah I'm kind of liking this idea. A mechanical pokemon you win in a pretty tough contest; that doesn't run out of stamina, but here are the restrictions and positives on it.

Restriction 1. You can only use it in the region you won it from.
R2. It's not trade-able or sell-able.
R3. Must have a certain player lvl to ride.
R4. Must have the best mode of land transportation before it.
(example: So if you want to get a skateboard, you need to have running shoes first.)

Positive 1. Faster than all the other modes of transportation.
P2. It's rare so only like 1 in 20 people would have it.
p3. Stamina doesn't run out.

So there would be like 4 different kinds of riding mechanical pokemon, and you could even make a poll about that later to determine it. and if you ever won the contest again, and happened to have the same mechanical pokemon you already had won, you can trade it in for  a different one.

I'm likin that idea for a prize. But in time everyone is going to have one. Maybe just have the pokemon ride until the next same tournament comes up?

So basically your borrowin it. And to show everyone that your the champion of that tournament and if you want to ride it, you'll have to win that tournament. This could possibly be for every major tournament?
