None of those have to happen at the same time, mind you. In all seriousness, I want to make Pokemon Brown. Your starter is a bidoof, you're a bidoof, your rival is a bidoof, all the Pokemon are bidoof, your family is a bidoof, you live in a bidoof, you ride you bicycle bidoof, the elite four are bidoofs... I think you see where this is going.

This is not a lie, this was a supposition according to the circumstances then. During the year, there were uncontrollable events which slowed down the process and pushed the predicted date.
It a joke XD I read through the FAQ lol.

There are some places where it looks bumpy, and not all your lines are clean. The lower fin seems odd as well... it's too 'towards the head'. Lastly, the shading near the tail seems odd.
You could try out some easy ones for the time being, such as Voltorb, Jigglypuff, Pikachu, Mew, Swablu, Electrode, Magnemite, Drifloon, etc.
And I suggest you work on white background.
Otherwise, It's not bad 
To work on what Jerry mentioned; there are also areas where the color bleeds into the background. You can noticed this on his underbelly and near his whispers. The orange is moving past the outline and into your black backgrounds. (The dorsal fin seems out of place with it's coloring.) Fixing that, along with some of the shading and blocky areas of the outline would be a huge improvement. Otherwise, it's really good for a first attempt and I like the style of it. And if you want to try, a clear background is always a great addition to a picture over a colored one.

Having only one stat ailment prevents the 'over-nerfing' of the opponent. It's either of cannot attack, or half speed, or half attack in my example.
Unless you want to see every support Pokemon in the game at a severely nerfed level of play, this would be a bad idea. If you play any amount of competitive battling, you would also know that not only would this change be crippling (And no, there wouldn't be a fair way of balancing it without completely gutting and changing the entire way battling works) but it would be an almost guaranteed death sentence to any Pokemon trying to set up a sweep. I would rather not have my matches drag on for twenty minutes each, because all twelve Pokemon are Poison, Paralysed, and Burned. Note: Evasion teams are banned in competitive play because they introduce a massive luck factor into the game and do nothing but prolong a match for no specific reason.

Seeing as the only way to "rage quit" would be to exit the client mid battle, then not really. It will be a loss for the character and a win for the person they quit against. Rage quitting would only be an issue in a situation in which wins/losses would not be recorded.

The term Twilight, referencing the time of day in the early morning or late evening where the sun gives the sky a notable hue, has been around longer than the soul sucking horror fest known as the "Twilight Saga".
Instead of renaming it with some horribly maimed misspelling, I'd suggest adding more to it. "Twilight's Hammer" or "Twilight of the ____".
Just a suggestion, as most of the thread has already mentioned that it does conjure up a less than... desirable image when first reading it.
