Anyone ever wonder why Giovanni was never revealed as Ash's father? I mean, there's never been much continuity in Pokemon aside from small ongoing plots, but you know, it's mostly always felt like filler. I remembered recently that Silver from Gen. 2 was revealed to be Giovanni's son and I immediately thought him and Red as being half-brothers. I know the whole main villain being the protagonist's father is cliche but still, it seemed inevitable. After all, who IS Ash's father?

On-topic: No one knows perfect who is Ash's father. Anyway, Ash is not important. For me just the Pocket Monsters are.

As far as I know (from the little I've seen in a flashback), Ash's dad had the same hairstyle as Bruno when he leaves Pallet... But it's pretty obvious that Bruno isn't his dad. They meet after all
