Sorry for being absent for so long.Been busy.School and stuff.
I've actually got a bit of an odd suggestion, being, maybe we should allow people to have some sort of sub-type? Like, you can be Ice main, but also be known for having a pretty good Mono-Fighting, or something. Like, gonna use myself as an example, since I main Fairy, but am Still somehow known for my Normal team [PorygonLazersyo], I would be a Fairy type Trainer, Sub-type Normal, or something like that.

Though, after I describe this entire thing, it sounds a bit needless, so maybe never mind xD
I know i am a bit late but Great idea!!.Anyone planning on choosing fire as sub type?
BTW what are the requirements for being a mentor?

(21:29:32) GBA: You just see this meowth walk in
(21:29:35) GBA: Hang up a sign
(21:29:58) GBA: "Discuss the mega's more, we were making good progress, and need to continue this stuff, then we need to discuss Gen-6 pokemon! GET WITH THE PROGRAM PEOPLE"

Basically what I mean by this is

I think we need to continue to discuss balancing the remaining mega-pokemon, and actually officially decide on what to do, and whatnot. Then, I think we should just start going down theline with discussing new Gen-6 pokemon and whatnot, like, the squid with topsy-turvy, and the likes.

Agreed. As I said earlier, we should probably choose a few megas and talk about them.

Since no one has posted in quite a long time, at least, for our standards, I am going to pose a new question/Topic.

What are we going to do for the remaining Mega's?

Such as Scizor, Pinsir, Gardevoir, Aggron, Charizard X, and the rest?

We could discuss those here, give everyone a say and whatnot.
Lets choose 2-3 megas at a time and discuss them.
to get started lets talk about charizard x and scizor.

Moonblast - 95 base power and 30% chance to reduce special attack by 1 stage.

Why is this 95 when it also has 30% chance effect when t-bolt, flamethrower, etc. all got nerfed to 90?

I have been planning to nerf moonblast to 90 and reducing the chance to 10% so it will be like the others.
Can I get some feedback on this?
Agreed.95 BP for a 100% accuracy move which also has a chance to lower Special attack is too much.90 BP would be better. The chance effect should be 10 or 15 %(10 would be better since flamethrower, ice beam, thunderbolt which are all 90 BP moves, have 10% chance effect).

Wouldn't Lucario or some other Fighting type pokemon provide more coverage?Or would a setup sweeper be better(like dragon dance dragonite or tyranitar). And the only pokemon that come to my mind when i think of grass type wall are Venusaur,Vileplume,Ferrothorn.i don't really know any other "good" grass type walls.
How is this Vaporean

Mega Charizard Y(Balanced)/Dex no. 006
Base stats 78/104/78/159/115/100 Total=634
Ability changes:none
Movepool changes:none
Mega zard y has a great special attack and a nice ability, drought which boosts the damage of fire types moves and allows it to use solarbeam in one turn.(for five turns)
Reason:even though Mega charizard y has great special attack, but it has average speed.most of the sweeper outspeed him.And though its typing make it immune to ground type moves, which are a big threat to fire type pokemons,it also makes it 4x weak to rock type moves and 2x to electric type moves.any rock type move from a sweeper or tank will OHKO it.Mega Charizard also lacks defence making it a little weak to physical moves.Even Flare Blitz from Blaziken can 2HKO it.Overall charizard is a good special sweeper if carefully used and though an increase in the speed stat would have been good because it can't really use any move to boost its speed(except dragon dance) and can't use choice scarf, but still it is a balanced pokemon.
Example set:
Charizard (M) @ Charizardite Y
Trait: Solar Power
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Air Slash
- Dragon Pulse
- Flamethrower
- SolarBeam
Air Slash takes out fighting types and also has a chance to make opponent Flinch,Flamethrower for grass, steel, bug and deals nice amount of damage to non resistant pokemon, dragon pulse is to stop dragon types and solar bean allows it to kill water, rock and ground types.

Megaevos are good if you are playing pokemon x or y or any other pokemon game. Most of us don't give our pokemon items to hold in these games because mostly they are hard to find and even if we find a good item we rarely make our pokemon hold them because most of these items are only useful in competitive battles. So in a way megaevolutions are great for main pokemon games but they are useless in competitive battles because they can't hold any items.

Some of the mega evos are too strong and will have to be nerfed.I heard a lot of pokemons are getting new abilities.will starters get new abilities too?Wouldn't it be unfair that some pokemon have 4 abitities and starters have only 2.
