Looks cool! What is this for?
-
I think he is applying for mapper. Looks good, but there is too much going on here. If you're thinking open world MMO, you need to go with the concept less is more. That's just my feedback.
-
Woaaaaaaah ZOCAN! Long time, no see buddy. Don't suppose you've decided to come back and help out again? :P
-
I like your work. Looks good to me.
-
If it is for the MMO then I agree with Xetroc. Though it is nice, having that much stuff going on can be taxing.

I like to Explore and i know lots of you do too. so when i map i Love to place hidden things everywhere. Explore caves, go through the rivers, follow the trail, and i could also plan for Flyers to satisfy their curiosity.
BTW these maps are unused, i'm making them using POL.
But i downloaded Tiled today and I made a small 2 player required Puzzle.

^The 3 rooms on the left are the ones you enter, the maps on the right are When the switch(computer) are activated.
bottom room is just a random hall. not allot of efforts but still fun to do.

That looks good. I like that one a lot. Makes teamwork required to solve it.
-
To really make these puzzle fun, they should require /party to group up with people. have puzzle acording to group size.
For example:
you need a group of 5 to Reach Starreach cave'd depths.
this way in game (clan) or group of some kind can reach hidden territories Hidden deep, Hiding the rare Natural Habitats of Metagros
-
you can find a wild metagross?
-
Anything could be a good reward to a good group.
I mean imagine the Saphir mountain being a huge group puzzle, and the end of the huge underground puzzle maze would be a room with a rare chance to find a good pokemon.
-
Oh hey there! Zocan is back! ^^ And with some nice maps on top of that! :P
-
I'm not here to become a mapper again, I'm just here to see how the game progresses, because i can't wait to play :)
-
i saldy dont know what the saphir mountain is and although i do agree catching a rare pokemon in the wild is awesome and probably worth it.
-
It's okay, I can understand. I never implied saying you were applying for the mapping position though xD
It's still good to see you're still around, at least doing pretty well and enjoying yourself :)
-
Thanks jerry, So how's everything been going around here? anything major new things?
Humen, Saphir mountain is the map i posted in the first post, view original image and zoom onto it to see it better.

why does the bridge go into the gym and out into the market. Do you ahve to beat the gym first before you go to the market?
Did you draw the map out or just crop out pieces from actual pokemon maps and redesign them
-
Things have been quite slow. I understood that the lack of artists is kind of getting everyone's motivation down and other life related stuff got in the way.
I'm myself partaking in my final exams which I hopefully won't have to sit again next year. After that, I should be free for a while before getting into deeper studies much later on. It's been a more of less good year and ready to take on the next!
Also, Humen, the bridge goes from the roof of the gym, you don't have to beat the gym first. You'll just be walking on the roof of that gym.

And i'm using tile sets That i find laying around and mostly mapping tools to make them.
But if you wanna know which program i used For Saphir Mountain, the program name is POL Map editor

I love the 2nd one! Really cool.
