Title: Favorite Web Browser

So, I was wondering, what browser does everyone prefer to use? As for myself, I love Firefox and Google Chrome. :3

Note: If you're using Internet Explorer, you really need to switch browsers. Internet Explorer is the WORST browser you can use. It's horrible, slow, ugly, lacks any customization such as themes and addons. No one should ever use it.

I use Firefox and Chrome, but prefer Firefox for most things.

i only use firefox when something isn't working, such as a video that isn't supported by chrome (which almost never happens)

Firefox with some additional plug-ins like:
- Dictionary
- Firebug (must have for every web programmer)
- Chatzilla (IRC client)

Voted Firefox because I use that on my main comp. I use opera on my laptop though, which is just as good. Chrome sucks.

I use Firefox on my parent's computer, and on my brother's computer I use Internet Explorer. I am usually on my parent's computer though.

I personally prefer Google Chrome. It's so easy to use it, and the fastest (at least in my computer).
Also I found the  CRTL + F  (find)  very useful, when searching for something (I use it a lot).
I don't know why but I have problems with Firefox in my comp.
I switch between Google Chrome and Opera (this browser is OK till now).

IE was ok till the updated or they had the new version what ever happened. Now I hate it, I really hate it and to Mozilla  I <3 you!

Firefox is the best!! One of the best addons has to be youtube to mp3. makes it so much easier to download favourite sound clips :)

It does. Unless he's using something very, very old.

I use firefox, and I think it's great, but how does it stand against google chrome?

Can anybody tell me whether I should download chrome and use that instead?

I heard that Google Chrome needs a patch to be able to use Java...
I think, you don't need to download everything that is new.

In my opinion, the Mozilla Firefox is really good. It's faster than some other Browsers, looks really good and has got all features I need. All options are easy to find. It's easy browsing^^
But that doesn't mean that it is the best browser. Every one has got something special.
For example, with Opera you can switch between the tabs by using Ctrl + Tab.

I usually use firefox(love the addons), but if a site ever crashes on firefox i visit it on chrome.

Firefox a thousand times!

Firefox is far better than IE. It's somewhat faster, more stable (hardly crashes), easy surfing, etc.

On firefox, you can switch tabs by holding ALT and pressing either 1, 2, 3 etc on the number pad to switch to the first, second and third tab respectively, of course, if you have three tabs open. (it's like that for me, I don't know if it's so on other browsers)

I tried Chrome, not too bad either, but I'm sticking to Firefox for the simple fact that it has not been released for Linux yet. My XP just crashed and required formatting too often...

i use chrome, but switch to firefox every once in a blue moon if something works better there. it is very rare for a media file to not work on chrome but work on firefox instead, but i have seen it happen, though i could probably count the amount of times on one hand. thing is, chrome is really fast, has a nice new tab function (reminiscent of opera), and if you close the browser and then open it, not only can you maintain all the tabs you had open, but you can still use their back buttons (in other words it keeps a kind of history on each tab, making it as if you never closed them in the first place). also, i was reading through some of the information on chrome and supposedly it has been designed so that if one of your tabs crash, only that tab crashes, and all the other tabs, not to mention the entire browser, are unaffected. this also means that if you have one slow tab, its not going to make the whole things slow, just that one tab (of course if it slows down your computer thats a different story)

.....so......chrome ftw

My favorite browser would have to be Safari.
Even though I'm a PC, it's still insanely fast, never crashes (at least for me).
The tabs react, I rarely ever lag (unlike when I use FireFox).
I just lurv it. : ).
Though! Recently I've been using this browser called Flock.
It's pretty much an alternative to FireFox. Built on the same code, except Flock is built
around social networking. So it's a lot easier to sign into your accounts and such.
And, it's faster than FireFox. : ).
Insane right?! : D.

I use Firefox Minefield (latest; not released yet). Though there's an issue needing fixing hence I use Chromium for now. But Firefox is really great with all the extensibility and flexibility.

A beta exists for Linux, or you can use Chromium which is what Chrome is based on.
