Once the game launches I was thinking what if someone developed an app for iPod/iPhone that allows people to trade pokemon without being in the game. Tell me what you think and thanks in advance.
-
Thats an interesting idea, however it seems like it would be incredibly hard to make
-
The way trade works in this game is to have the two players close to each other and request a trade... I'm not sure how this would work. I do like the concept of the idea, though... but as Viper said, it would be difficult to make.

I was thinking that you would register an account on this website instead of in the client and it would log you into the client. From the website you would be able to view your inventory/Pokemon without actually playing the game. There could be a shop of some sort on the site enabling people to purchase things like pokeballs and potions. Just a thought.

The only way i could see this working is if the app allowed you to enter a place like the Union Room, and you would be able too see People in that room only and trade. Or a possible is have an interface that just shows the names of people looking for a trade, and it gives you the option to chat and trade with them, and then enter a trade window like in the games. Nothing too complicated that has any of the actual game world in it

That's something similar to what I was thinking.

I hope Android would be supported. :D this sounds like a cool idea!

Derp. I don't like this idea. Besides, I'm pretty sure it was mentioned somewhere that trading pokemon will require both parties be near each other ingame, thus making this app a no-no.
-
no-no.
-
i like the idea

Maybe instead of trading it could be a way to check your mail and do guild related things like send announcements to your guild.
