Okay, since we reset the RP, I'll have a new OOCC thread.
One thing I'm not sure how will be getting along... is what will happen when the official english names for the Gen V pokemons will be out. We'll probably have a medley of pokemon names at some point XD

A general announcement to everyone in the 'Random Pokemon RP'
Is it possible for everyone to review their posts at least once before they post it? Typos are not often desirable and can sometimes lead to misunderstanding.
Remember that we want to have some great time RPing and not just sort of competing with each other to show how good one can be.

thank you, :), i added quite the twist to this rp, and Jerry must have a special ability since he's able to see the shadow pokemon, while most people normally can't(i of course have a special contact lens, to see the aura.)

Yes, that's why I didn't directly say that the Quagsire was different. I said that my char had a strange feeling and this was confirmed when the Quagsire used Protect. It's different from how you can picture it with your contacts :)

our little rp is turning out to be quite interesting, I may have to rely on Jerry to see shadow pokemon sometimes though, as Amphi doesn't always have is contact in...

Yes, if you can compare the sprite of Gligar with that of a female Gligar, you'll see that the sting of his tail is slightly bigger, hence a male :)

Okay, things seemed to be okay for some time, and I hope it'll last for some time before I am absent for 2 weeks.
This RP turned to such a mess...
1. Drbg I don't think that pokemon are allowed like that in the museum...
2. Light, I thought you stayed outside... and we are not yet 'finished with the museum'... ::)
3. Monzta, avoid big characters. CAPS is enough to show shouting.

Sorry to announce this guys, but as of the moment I will be leaving the RP. This is due to a combination of RL stuff (Exams :/ ) and because I want to spend more time story writing for PU.

Because if you want to continue from the previous one, you can still make posts where you swap pokemon, I don't know, you catch new ones, and release others...

But... FALSE You never played in this RP as a trainer until you got 6 badges. Even if you did, the RP was reset. If you don't know what that means, look in a dictionary. So, don't think that you can get away with that. Also, I won't allow you just to skip so many levels. Your Tyrogue just evolved and your pokemon are already Lv 50!? Sorry, but no.
Also, about your PM, you can start in any region.
Ruby, you can send me a PM of your Pokemon Random RP character. There is a thread for that on the board. I'll post it as soon as possible.

Sky woke up once again to a blistering hot day in Sootopolis city. I brushed across my curtains and light came streaming in, from the sun bleeding over the mountains.
I sat down on at my desk reading once again Proffesor Arch's pokemon Journal he had given me.
I was fascinated by pokemon. It saddened me that I knew everything about pokemon in the Hoenn region but had only seen very few, since I was trapped in Sootopolis city my entire life.
Since the heat wave, all the bird pokemon migrated to Kanto, preventing anyone from leaving Sootopolis.
My Nosepass opened the door and stumbled into my room.
Hey there Nosepass! How are you this morning?
Nose...Pass!
One day we will leave this place Nosepass. Dont know how dont know when, but we will go and explore the world together!

Wait... So the changed the routes and cities around? I rushed through route 3 to get to the second gym. Then I went back to that route into the Wellspring cave. Catching roggenrola, I went back to the pokemon center of the second gym's city. Then when I rushed through the end of the forest of the bridge, I was stopped by sewaddle and battled them. Then I tried to catch you, Ruby, and the male with Nosepass.

Other than that... I can't think of anything else right now.
Black, okay, if you just went through the forest, that means that you reached Skyarrow Bridge (http://www.serebii.net/pokearth/unova/skyarrowbridge.shtml). There is Castelia City after that, then route 4, which is a desert, then you reach Nimbasa city (http://www.serebii.net/pokearth/unova/nimbasacity.shtml), West of which, you get Route 5, and further west, Driftveil Bridge and the city.

would anyone like to see Amphi come back from a hiatus? been thinking about it. :) Although if I bring him back i kind of am thinking of a bad-ass entrance with his newly evolved Tyranitar, seeing as he is a pokemon purifier his pokemon tend to level up fastersince they typically fight stronger pokemon. What do any of you think?

Soren's pokemon aren't at a very high level, which is why he's training, and it's also why he lost his gym battle. I'm going to make Cyndaquil evolve.

you gotta remember Jerry that at 1) pupitar was around level 30 when he first fought your monferno 2) Amphi's pokemon typically grow faster because a majority of his opponents are shadow pokemon, which are significantly more powerful than normal pokemon.

Yes, I know Amphi, but from there to 55, I don't know :( Maybe you could work out something that would explain the high level of your Tyrannitar (or ex Pupitar)... or train only Pupitar?

Because I don't even know which pokemon he has. But still, it's kind of unfair to go from level 30ish to level 55, even if your pokemon are battling stronger ones. Maybe in the 40s, and he can level up and evolve. It wouldn't take as long to evolve if it's battling stronger pokemon anyway. So then your pokemon won't be way stronger than everyone else's pokemon. It would also give you an unfair advantage if you battled any of us.

Typically Amphi only uses his pupitar, remember most other pokemon get sent back to his home in johto once theyre purified.

Oo. Okay, let's work this out. I delete my post about getting to level 50, I realise that is way overpowered (I thought you guys were way higher.) My Hitmonchan is level 30, since he just evolved. Now, instead of magically catching a Rampardos AND a Dusknoir, i'll catch a Duskull first. Later in the RP, i'll battle some more, then obtain a skull fossil, which I will extract into a Cranidos, then evolve into a Rampardos. I'll also delete any post about beating any trainers with my overpowered Pokemon. Deal? :)
EDIT: I've deleted all my ignorant posts. I'm gonna start all over, back in the forest. (There's a forest in Unova region right? O.o)

Because deep inside he feels like he dosen't deserve to evolve. There I gave away my whole plan. ;)
I am a lv 56 and have been unable to evolve because of the reason stated before. And he learned of Evolite from an unknown pokemon that told him that it would help him until he managed to evolve.

etc. if you see what I mean. It makes it easier to read. And try mentioning the attacks.moves where applicable. Like once you spoke about the fists of Infernape turning blue and the move of the other pokemon somehow turned against itself.

The young boy looked at his pokéballs, which contained his trusted Pokémon Snivy, Riolu, and Starly. He needed to get to Castelia soon. He stood up and looked to the road ahead. It was time to move.
(I was in a rush, so I'll type more later).
After a day of traveling, Kiro finally reached the grand Castelia City. He's trained hard for this battle and he wasn't about to lose. With determination, he headed straight for the Gym, walking briskly and quickly. Riolu began cry out to Kiro, eventually getting Kiro to stop.
Kiro: Oh, sorry Riolu, I didn't mean to leave you behind. I'm just so amped up for this battle!
Riolu: Ra!
Kiro: Haha! I know you're amped to! Are you ready Riolu? Let's get that third gym badge!
Riolu never did like being in a Pokéball. Excitement coursed through the trainer and his Pokémon as they entered the gym. The setting of this gym made Kiro feel like he was in a treeless forest surrounded by beautiful art. Kiro and Riolu looked at each other with fire in their eyes, then nodded to each other, ready to win. They both walk forward into the Gym, eventually reaching the battle platform.
Kiro closed his eyes and thought about the promise he made long ago to a friend. That promise he made was to become the Champion of the Unova League and become the best Pokémon Master. That friend passed away from large amounts of poison due to an Arbok attack. Kiro blames himself because he was the one who had the idea to venture into unfamiliar land...
Burgh: Welcome to my humble Gym! I am Burgh, the Bug type specialist. I believe you are here to earn your Insect Badge?
Kiro: That's right! My name is Kiro and that Insect Badge is as good as mine!

When martha realized Skyline was gone, she went looking for him. While looking for him she ended up entering the area where you all were. Of course she started on the bottom floor, sighting the gym leader, who was battling the shadow triad with her Skyline(Zororark). Out of instant worried she ran to Skyline, who sent her to the next floor/area that ya'll were in. Nearly beaten, she sent out infernape to stop Skyline in his tracks after the gym leader came to follow, fainted. After a part of the battle before Skyline used night daze, infernape put martha behind you all(not N) as a close save. Martha is now unconcious, and infernape took the battle with Skyline back to the first floor starting to forget mach punch for CC.

And Black... really? Brycen is supposed to be a Martial Artist and have pretty strong pokemon, while Skyline just seems to have got crazy and the 'someone' disappeared like that. Character wise, I can't find anything else to think of about Martha than to be one of them...

... this will probably fail as self defence, but Skyline is naturally a ranged fighter(hence Extrasensory), so he could have manipulated him the same way as martha, but I still haven't played the game, so how am I suppose to know? Actually, Gyrados CAN fly. It's been seen in a couple movies/TV episodes.

Mewtwo one, I doubt it. I saw the movie and the only scene that we see the Gyarados Fly is when Mewtwo uses his psychic powers to get all the clones with him. As for the other one, I'm looking for it.

I was talking about gyarados and martha: N was placed in the forest. But they coud called unfrozen by this time. And as for Gyarados dodging DP, even moves can be dodged with their 100 accuracy if the evader is fast enough, hence the +6Dragon Dance. And technically, evasiveness does relate to speed, hence the description of Double team.

Right, but we're in the gym in Opelucid. I'm not really sure how you would come out and just start watching, especially because we're at the gym leaders...
All I'm saying is it might make a little more sense in the RP to start with a little backstory and meet up with us later. Trust me, you'll get a little used to not always being with another character. Heck, Trainer Black has been trying to catch up to us for quite a while.

There's a pretty good chance you could. Find your way to Opelucid within 3 posts, and wait outside of the gym. Maybe say it's dragon-like shape drew you to it.

Well, every time he see's a dragon he attacks for various reasons.

Uhm, how often does he -meet- dragon types, and how often does he win?

He seeks them out, so a lot, and he is a friggin Eevee, he wins like, once out of every 10 he meets, and when he "wins" its because they took pity on him, or he made a really good strategy

I assume on average your Eevee meets one dragon types a day, 1x365=365. You fight 365 on average. 1/10 of 365 is 36.5. So your Eevee has beaten 37 or 36 dragon types. I'm assuming the dragon types are low leveled.. so you gain like... 100 exp on average. 36x100=3600. Your Eevee is like.. level 10-15.

Actually, I think he only defended Zebstrika from the Sand attack. And the closest source of water is about 20 yards away, and Jerry is between you and it.
Edit: Actually, it did use thunder wave.

Not really... in-game day =/= real day. Plus my char only recently woke up (with the sun) and has just started battling, meaning it's still 'early morning' where I am. It's just that you'll have to wait a bit. The battle will have to end and I'll be at the entrance of Victory Road at about noon.

I'm not really sure if i'm on point of the game(since i don't have it), but if I remember corectly from watching a friend, after all the elites are beaten, you go to the statue and you decend, getting ready to face the Champion. But N is there as well, and after the conversation ends you battle N and his Legenday instead, right? Well, since I'm the closest of this plot, and I don't posess Black Orb, you wouldn't mind if i took your place in that battle, would you?

Well, I'm not following the story of Black/White completely, I'm changing a lot of things really...
But point remains, the Black Orb is currently owned by Aqua, so it's to her that you'll have to address.
Also, triple check the names of the pokemon when you use them. You tend to misspell them a lot.
