I don't see a problem with this.
There is a relatively new pokemon mmo out there called pokemon Revolution online.
Miss Wednesday and I have already joined about a week ago. I have to say is pretty great.
If anyone wants to join us then add us as friends in game. Of course my name is Roloc and miss changed her name to Missxatu.

Giving it a try and using my 2nd username Unknown008. Not idea if I'll be able to play much, but I guess I'll check it out first and depending on how good it appeals to me, might be playing it now and then. Thanks for sharing :) (downloading right now)
EDIT: Not sure how to add people. There are a few bugs here and there, nothing too big.

Yeah there are a few bugs but that's to be expected. The game is still beta and hasn't been out but a few months. They are looking for coding/scripting help so for those of you that know how may be able to be one help there and become admins.
I'm going to miss being an admin. I always pictured myself here looking at our mods and making sure they weren't abusing their power. Been on so many games where admins were always abusing power.

Yea, it does feel a bit weird to have been given privileges above normal users on a similar project and not having those :) I played just a bit so far and it looks like it will take longer to level up. I also got a badly IV'd starter, oh well, so much for a good start xD

Leveling is actually pretty fast. Miss and I had a few pokes each above 40 BEFORE lt. surge.
We are at Blaine now and have lvl 55+ pokes.
Yeah my bulbasuar had bad nature and ivs. Sucks cause I wanted to use my mega venusuar as an awesome dual physical and special tank.

My Raichu is almost level 60, yes I picked Pikachu and it sucked, should of stuck with squirtle ._.

Cool see ya there. I plan on talking to the admins pretty soon. See about joining the team there. I have a lot of ideas, skills that could be utilized in PRO.
For one I have found a small amount of bugs on the pvp side of things that I can probably help with.

They are going to be releasing the random pvp battle system soon and I don't have any competitive pokemon yet. I am trying to rush through johto as fast as possible, gather as much money and I can and then start hunting for good natured/IVed pokes.
Once I have the team I want, I am fairly sure I can be within the top 5 on the game. You have NO idea how many people on there are stupid(about pokemon competitive play) Even had a GM state that "Bold was a good nature for Rhyperior as it was best as a tank." I was like "WHAT!!!!" lmao
Planning on getting a few pokemon that I know can easily dominate without 31 IVs in all stats.

To name just a few. Conkeldurr will especially be pretty insane sense assault vest is in game. If weakness policy is in as well then d-nite will wreck the place as jolly with multi scale. Take a SE attack like a baws, get +2 in both offensive stats while doing a dragon dance on first turn, then just sweep with awesome coverage.
I have to say I am liking the game so far. There are some bugs here and there but that's to be expected of a game that just released beta a few months ago. The devs seem like they release updates and bug fixes fairly fast so thats good.

I'm not that far in the game myself. Got 4th badge during the week then my workload exploded. Had to do extra hours almost everyday... so didn't get to play since, but hopefully getting some progress today.
EDIT: I still can't figure out how to add people on that... Are we making like some guild btw?

You add people through the forum. Took me a while to figure that out. I would be up for a guild. Only thing i don't like is no breeding system

There is a friends list in game. You can either click on the person you want to add and a menu will pop up for you to add or remove them or type in chat "/friend (name)"
Without the quotes and parenthese of course.
No breeding does suck but then rare pokes would be come stupidly common. It would take away value from pokes. All pokes are available in game and catchable without any type of payment. Excluding legends.

Yeah they just released an update. They said the smoothed out some things that should help with the crashes some. Lets hope.

Well, I'm still level grinding away. Unfortunately, in order for me to add you guys, we all have to be online. I tried it three times yesterday and it wouldn't go through. Got this message: "suchandsuch is not online"

I'm in pu's irc channel when I get online usually, so it's easy to know with a few click's if I'm on or not, otherwise I'm generally online on weekends around 16:00-20:00 GMT time.
EDIT: I've been seeing Cortex online this weekend on the forums of PRO but not ingame :( Managed to found Zatir who had surprisingly about as much game progression as I have. Though probably overtook me by now xD. I'm currently grinding cash to get HM02.

Yea, it's fine. Among other things, I'm in the christmas event area right now trying to get a Lapras, but I also found a map of Viridian Maze to get EV reducing berries here (http://"http://pokemon-revolution-online.net/Forum/viewtopic.php?f=89&t=6797").
Trainers and dig spots get 'refreshed' every 4 days or so, which can be used to get more star pieces, or other rare items like fossils, TMs. A lot is about money in the game, so try not to lose any battles or waste on buying items that you might not use.

I was wondering where the EV reducing berries were. I will have to find that map. Have you finished the Xmas quests, Jerry?
As a reward for finding the reindeer you get a hat that is basically stantlers antlers. And the other is a Santa hat. Not much of reward for me since I don't like Santa hat or stantler but I like quests none the less.
On another note I did find a decent gyarados to use. naughty with 22 attack and 28 speed. So thats something.
Not good enough for competitive play but very nice for using for PVE things.
Miss Wednesday is going to donate soon so she can get a shiny manectric mount. I am going to just buy a bike. I had the money for it once already but I decided that buying revives and heals for the E4 was more important. lol
By the way, Jerry, congrats on winning the secret event! What did you get?

I got the bike by selling nugget, star pieces and maybe other rare stuff to the guy at Cerulean Cape around my 5th badge to get access to bike pass.
Also thanks, I really don't know how I won that one, still a bit in disbelief x3 In any case, here are the stuff I remember (not in game right now):
- Eevee
- Glaceon
- Lapras
- Magmortar lv100
- Togekiss
- Shiny Wooper
- Jynx
- 400k pokedollars
- 2 leftovers
- Grey winter set clothes
- 1 month Membership medal (that I'll probably keep until I unlock more things)
And maybe a few more items held by the pokemon. These are not really PvP geared, but I didn't even expect that much! I was hunting Lapras when the guy contacted me and I didn't realise it was the same guy doing the giveaway. I was telling him about me hunting Lapras without luck so far, then he asked me about how far I am in the game and if I got the event exclusive Pokemon. After a while of chatting, he told me the purpose of talking with me and then gave me that bunch of stuff ^^;
Otherwise yep, got the santa hat and the stantler's antlers. I'm going to use part of that cash to get HM02 then victory road.
Also: don't go for Mew right now. There are frequent server crashes and lots of players are already complaining that they have lost Mew because of the crash. I'm in their IRC so, I see lots of these stuff :s

Just caught my first dratini. Naive with 30 spatk and 25 speed. Will make for a very nice special d-nite or a mixed d-nite.

I've actually given up. I haven't been able to get online. Same error. I'll just wait until the game is a little more stable.

They have a huge increase in members this month so servers are sometimes full. Just keep logging in.
They are in the process of upgrading servers to deal with the increase in members.

Indeed and the server is even harder to get in in weekends... that together with the fact that you're better safe than sorry to logout after getting something you don't want to lose in fear that the server crashes and you lose it to a roll back, it's pretty tough to play.
And MissWednesday, we should all really meet up sometime :P Where are you at anyways? I'm trying to get a nocturnal feather right now. Been working on an Eevee and Buterfree for Covet and Compoundeyes respectively today, then it got daytime ingame, so I've gotta wait tomorrow to start the hunt. Still haven't gone through victory road.

You can get a teddyursa for covet. I use it all the time on my ursaring. We are both at the e4 but are still hunting pokes at the Xmas event. I've caught 2 dratini so far but they had wrong ability :(

Yea, it's hard getting the rare ones with the right ability. And they wiped out all friend lists in the updated client... I'll have to catch you again online to add you again.

that it is. But get yourself a poke with syncro and the correct nature you want and use it to catch pokemon. it gives a 50% chance to give the wild pokemon the same nature of the syncro pokemon.
Thats how I caught my gastly last night. Timid with 29 spd and 30 sp atk. Now to just ev train it and level it.

Reached Goldenrod City last weekend. Level gap is huge :s

Awesome. Miss and I have beat Johto already. I've caught 4 epic pokes so far. But only 1 is EVed and level 100, the other 3 are halfway EVed and not even 50 yet lol. When I get them to 100 I'm going to attempt to do some of the bosses in game. Like Red, pumpkinking, Brock, Deathwing. I think I should be able to beat them with 4 epic level 100s but I'm not 100% sure.
Bold regenerator slobro with 31 def and 31 hp
Brave scizor with 28atk 27def 29spdef 31hp
Timid Gengar with 30spatk 31speed
Calm Blissy with 28spdef and 27hp
Some of the next pokes I will be looking for is Yanmega, heracross, gyrados, dragonite, snorlax, tyranitar, machamp and conkeldurr.
I don't know which ones I should go for first though.
On another note. I'm liking that they got the servers fixed. No more crashing whooooo. And they release updates crazy fast lol. They release new stuff like every other week. 2 days ago they just released headbutting trees and you can get chimchar from it.

Huh, are you sure Regenerator works? I know some people are getting them for when the ability starts working... but yea, they release updates fast enough and while crashes are not as frequent, they do still occur. People complain at least once a day on IRC xD

Yeah, they occur about once every 12 hours or so. But it's not always a crash, its sometimes a server take down so they can add new code.
Regenerator doesn't work yet but it will soon. Red said it would be in either the next patch or the one after because it's a saught after ability for pvp.
