It depends on the situation. For instance, I tend to gravitate toward faster pokemon in-game, so I think that the fast ball is one of the best. For other situations (I'm excluding Master Ball, because that's the obvious choice) Ultra Ball is usually the best for me. (Unless this is Snorlax... That's a Heavy Ball right there)

My personal favorites are Flygon, Kingdra, and Dragonite.
If you play Flygon right, he can really help your overall party.
Dragonite has great Defense, has Superpower AND Extremespeed (one of my favorite moves)
And Kingdra is just bloody SCARY. I get terrified whenever someone throws him, so he definitely makes my favorite list.

Let's see... I'd probably have Ninetales, Espion, Gyrados, Flygon, Meganium, and Ampharos.
My reasons all start with the fact that I like to have a diverse party. I HATE HATE HATE it when I'm up against something that I don't have a pokemon that can actually match up to it.
Moving onto my individual reasons... Ninetales: Most badass Fire type there is in my opinion. Plus, it's pretty balanced in Attack and Defense. Espion: My favorite, end of story. Gyrados: In Red and Blue I was that kid that had about 3 Magicarp in my party not knowing that they completely sucked. When one actually evolved into Gyrados, I was so unbelievably excited that I never made a party without one. Plus, it completely OWNS. Flygon: One of my favorite dragon types. I suppose that's because of the diversity of moves it can naturally learn. (I'm not a big fan of TMs unless they are absolutely necessary) Meganium: First Grass type that I actually liked. There's not really any other reason for that... Amphoros: I love the fact that it knows Signal Beam so I can have a bug type move without actually having a bug type pokemon in my party. (Bug types and I never really got along well...)
Well, I just realized that most of those reasons were stupid. Oh well, that's my dream party for you.

My favorite is Espion.
Real reason: I've always been a fan of Psychic types and Espion is one of the most well balanced of them. Plus, it's variety of move types helps a great deal in battles!
Stupid reason: It's sooooo adorable!

Hi guys! I'm Tora!
I'm new here, have no idea what this site is, but somehow I can't help but be excited! I'm 17 and am from the United States. Been a fan of Pokemon since Red and Blue and CAN'T WAIT for the new games to be released over here (Darn you Japan, being so far away...)
