Gonna be pretty cynical here: Don't you prefer Ninetales? I mean, sure... Vulpix is cute... but Nintetales is more "majestic". Ah, who am I kidding? Vulpix used to be my favourite Pokémon - it's now Staraptor.

I think that maybe if you eat all of you eat all of your veg... you get some ice-cream after.
I think these three should have been the starters.
It would be pretty cool to have three starters that first look the same... but when they evolve they get to look a little different... and eventually they look completely different.

You can easily make Feraligatr into a tank.
I just find the fire starters are all mainly offensive, I'd like to see in Black and White a huge ass fire pig that serves as something other than just main offence.
Anyhow, the Sinnoh starters are still awful in my opinion.

Usually I will, since usually they're the strongest Pokémon I have.
The only exception were the Sinnoh games. I immediately stuck my Sinnoh starter in the computer after I caught a Starly and Bidoof... they're just so dumb.
Infernape is basically a rip-off of Blaziken, which was a rip-off of Typhlosion, which was a rip-off of Charizard.
Empoleon, durr... water-type tank? We don't have one of them do we? *stares over towards Blastoise, Feraligatr and Swampert*
And Torterra is just Venusaur's drugged up brother.
For real, yo.

My Pearl/Platinum Lucario's moveset was:
Aura Sphere, Psychic
Dragon Pulse, Flash Cannon
This pretty much took care of everything.
Also, a lot of Dragonite's moves are Dragon-type, but don't forget it can learn moves such as Fire Punch and Thunder Punch. If trained correctly, a Dragonite using Fire-Punch could rip apart a Lucario. It can also learn Earthquake, Brick Break, Focus Punch etc.
Pwnd.
I have no idea why I'm defending Dragonite... I still want my ditto.

Dragonite you may be thinking "Oh, he didn't pick Lucario!" but I was just joking, I go with Lucario.
Lucario can get pwnt, 1HITKO baby!
So can Dragonite. Froslass used Blizzard! It's Super Effective!Dragonite died from pneumonia! LucarioX panicked and dropped $A.LOT ... LucarioX blacked out!
