You only have to use your mono team when asked to represent EE. Other then that you are free to use any team you want.
I knew that ARGH! My main team will probably consist of Marowak, Rhydon, Nidoking, Swampert, Golem and Pidgeot anyway. I can just train a Gligar/Gliscor to change it with :1

Side note, in the FAQ I believe it says the other starters can be caught. On that note I'll choose Chikorita then catch Squirtle later on.
Hopefully, that will be the case...
Else, it would be hard to finish the Dex without multi-accounts
Why would you need multi-accounts if you can trade?
But it is good that all starters can be caught in the wild
well... I guess everyone would like a full dex, which wouldn't be possible without multi-accounts :|
