Yes, PU is really dead...

In the meantime I've been working on some private hobby stuff. Also started doing some 3D-modeling, painting and animating.

Take a look at a battle arena I'm working on. I might be willing to work on to create an entire game, starting with only battling.

It's a fake pokemon, design by prinny-dood, (see http://prinny-dood.deviantart.com/art/Fake-Pokemon-Sturmjaegr-592719612)

Hi Chaos,

I also have my questionmarks when the game will be finished.

But... At least I am really still working on the project. Look at this screenshot of the current status of the map editor. You like this?

The easiest way is to set the GOPATH to your `Go` directory where the sourcecode is stored. Then you can invoke the go command from every directory. In your case it is:

Code: [Select]
Environment variable name: GOPATH
Environment variable value: C:\Users\Felix\Downloads\Pokemon Universe\Go

Here is a link to set the environment variables.

NOTE: do not use the `src `directory, but the `Go` directory instead!

Welcome to the community Roll Tide! Bryan is online almost once every day. You probably have to show some of your work, so maybe you can prepare a little bit already?

You can actually only apply for open job positions. So I have to disappoint you, because at the moment we are only looking for decent pixel artists or other experienced persons who can join the design team. You are probably applying for a game optimalisation position, we already have some good team members already. Please keep an eye out on the jobs forum, maybe we open up some jobs soon.

Also a good point: if you're taking part of the community, it will actually help you being part of the development.

Mapping / Re: The new Pokeditor

I'm almost ready to release a new version of the Pok├ęditor. This version will allow the mappers to import and place/edit the new designed tiles on the maps. Those maps will be the official maps used for the game! Also designers can test their designs easily with this editor. Right now I have a couple of small things to add and to fix, to make sure the server and client both will run perfectly together.

We're now just a couple of days away from placing our first tile on the new world map...!
