So, I was thinking about making a thread for people to share their Twitter pages, much like the one I did with Last.FM. However, I was curious to how many people actually use Twitter. If this poll gets a good result, and many people do use it, I'll make the thread. If they do not use it, I may still make it, or might not even bother. Anyway, vote.

Ohai. I'm here making a thread about the invite only site called Lockerz.com. Lockerz is currently a beta website, where you can earn points, which they refer to as "PTZ", to buy some of your favorite items.

Lockerz Features:

Yes, social networking, such as IM clients like MSN and Skype, and websites such as Twitter, Facebook, and MySpace.

On-site minigames.

• Music

You'll be able to listen to a wide array of the latest music out there, for free via Lockerz.

• Video

You'll be able to watch video via the site. Now, they have not said much about the video feature. I'm not sure if you'll be able to upload your own media, like on YouTube. Of if they'll add content and stream it, like Hulu.

Now, I mentioned that you'll be able to earn points to buy items. Which is correct. Everything, and anything you do on Lockerz will earn you points. You get rewarded by doing the things you love. Talking to friends, playing games, listening to music, and watching video.

Things you can earn:

• Gaming consoles.

Such as the XBox360, PS3, and Wii.

• Handheld consoles.

Such as the PSP3000, PSP GO, and the Nintendo DSi.

• iPods

All kinds of iPods in all kinds of colours, sizes, and models.

• Computers

That's right. Computers. From laptops to netbooks, and from Macbooks to iMacs.

• Video games.

You'll be able to use your points to buy games for all of your favorite consoles and handhelds.

• Movies/TV Box Sets

You can purchase full DVDs and Blu-ray movies, or a TV box set.

• Accessories.

Such as watches, wristbands, t-shirts, pants, earrings, necklaces... ect.

• Experiences

You'll be able to purchase all kinds of experiences via Lockerz, such as concerts. These range from tickets, to getting VIP treatment by being flown to your destination, a stay at a hotel, and backstage passes.

• Charity

Spread the love.~ Use your points to donate to your favorite charity.


These are just a few of the things you can expect at Lockerz.com.

Now, some of you may question such free items and how they would profit. Well, now that they are in beta, they are giving everything out. Once the site launches you will be able to buy all of these items whenever you want with your own money, using your points to get amazing discounts and free things. Keep in mind that the site has NOT launched yet, so you're a bit restricted to what you can do. At the moment you can only earn points by logging in, and answering the daily question. They will be launching the "entertainment" part of the website beginning in February. This will include such things as games and video. The site is planned to be FULLY launched by the end of Spring 2010.

Does Lockerz ship internationally? -- Yes.

Help! I haven't gotten my invite email! -- Sometimes it can take a while for your email to come. For the best, and fastest results, use a gmail email.
NOTE: It seems hotmail users are not getting invites, so if you use a hotmail account, be it self made from another domain, or @hotmail.com, or @live.com. You may not get your invite sent.

Note: If you're using Internet Explorer, you really need to switch browsers. Internet Explorer is the WORST browser you can use. It's horrible, slow, ugly, lacks any customization such as themes and addons. No one should ever use it.
