1)the poke-walker feature
a.in game poke-walker you insert your Pokemon and they walk with you throughout the game picking up items and leveling up (slowly) as far as i know you can put any Pokemon in it at any time
b.actual toy
in every copy of Pokemon heartgold and soulsilver comes a poke-walker toy that you attach to your belt (or whatever)and you can transfer 3 Pokemon at a time every step you take in real life count as a step in the poke-walker your Pokemon can still collect items and you can choose like 5 or more places for your Pokemon to walk and your Pokemon gradually level up with this to you can also lose some lb....
2)UPDATE:legendarys(in ss ho-oh is lower then lugia and ubtained later and vice-virsa)
in soulsilver:lugia,ho-oh,groudon
in heartgold:ho-oh,lugia,kyogre,latios

take your ENGLISH copy of pearl,diamond or platnium (with DS or DSi) to game stop
to recieve this pichu AND if you trade it to soulsilver and heartgold and take it to ilex forest then you will meet another pichu spiky eared pichu

as i was saying the pichus then have a race (or something like that)then i think you battle it and can catch it.
4)improved graphics
this game definitely has improved graphics like leaves on the ground etc.
5)figurines
if you pre order the game you get figurines of ho-oh or lugia
6)arceus
this is a big deal! if you have arceus in d./p./pl. and trade to hgss you meet Cynthia at some point
and she says that arceus is the key to life or somthing and you can choose between lv. 1 giratina,dialga or palkia.
7)extras
this game will include kanto and jhoto
8)extra legendarys!
SoulSilver/HeartGold will include many of the Pokemon previously only available through the GBA games, like legendaries Groudon and Kyogre. So newcomers to the series, and players that only own a DSi will be able to catch 'em all. Pal Park will also be in the new games so you can transfer your old pokemon over
9)touch screen
the game uses the touch screen a lot more In addition to the Pokeathlon games, the bag and PC boxes are now controlled with the touch screen. For the first time ever players can drag and drop Pokemon in the PC The touch screen acts as the main menu Players can turn the running shoes on or off instead of holding the B button. There are also two key item slots now, controlled with the touch screen. I can tap my bike and ride over to a lake then just tap my fishing rod instead of going into my bag

not know what an event is or haw to do it
its simple really events are just places people with specificic pokemon games can get hard to get pokemon anyways this is how you do it
step 1) mystery gift
okay walk into game stop (also make sure you have the pokedex)make sure you dont have two wonder cards from previous events turn on the game and select mystery gift from the menu if this is your first time a message will tell you its detected something select recieve gift go to get via wireless chosse yes.
step 2)after wireless distribution
then make sure you only have five pokemon in your party and go to the pokemart you should see a man in green and he will give you the pokemon now check your party and it should be there
