Pokemon Egg Pouch
« on: August 12, 2013, 01:05:13 am »
This is my second idea, the first being the Evolutionary Elixir.

Pokemon Egg Pouch

My idea this time is another bag slot that will act just like the TM case, Berry pouch, key items pouch, etc. This bag slot can be called "pokemon egg pouch" or "egg pouch". It will hold an unlimited number of pokemon eggs. IF there are 6 pokemon in the party when an egg hatches, a pop up will show you what hatched and then be sent to the box automatically, just like when catching a pokemon when you already have 6 pokemon. If you don't have 6 pokemon in your party, all hatched pokemon will join the party until your party is full and the rest will be sent to the box.

Now, in the pokemon games, you can have a maximum of 5 eggs on you at a time, you hatch those 5, then you have to go to the pokemon box and deposit those pokemon in the box and then go collect more eggs.  This can be a hassle for breeders when they are looking for certain natures/abilities/etc, they don't have to run to the box every 5 eggs hatched.

This is really just to keep breeders from having to go from the daycare, to the box, then back to the daycare SOOOO many times while breeding.

Thanks for reading and please feel free to ask any questions and please tell me what you think. :D

Q & A

Q: I have 6 pokemon in my party, where do the hatched pokemon go?
A: When your party is full, all hatched pokemon are shown in a popup and then sent to your storage box.

More Q&A to come when more questions are asked.

This can also help with regular players who wanted an egg, but feel underpowered without a full party. I will admit, I always hated trying to run around and hatch an egg in the regular games, and accidentally run into a trainer without a full team. This can solve that problem.

If not as a main feature, it could also be some kind of reward after completing a quest related to breeding pokemon ^^
No one can go back and change a bad beginning; but anyone can start now and create a successful ending.
If a problem can be solved, no need to worry about it. If it cannot be solved what is the use of worrying?

That actually sounds like a pretty good idea. I, for one, completely approve. It'll make trying to become a breeder much easier. I've never played a pokemon game (well, not enough anyway), and I can say that this'll make things MUCH easier.
