I think it would be a good idea to have a profanity filter, but have it to be completely optional, except names, etc. This would make it so people like myself, don't have to deal with the annoyance of half of our typing being replaced with symbols or something.  :D

Sorry. And a profanity filter, because I'm sure some people don't want to hear it. But I'm certain many people use profanity and don't mind seeing it. And I personally find it annoying to have to change how I talk/type since my words would be blurred out or whatever anyway.
