They do seem to be running out of pokemon...

After Hoenn, the pokemon series just seemed to go downhill.

Not true. Sinnoh was a rough patch, IMO (I mostly only liked Riolu/Lucario there), but I loved 5th gen, in spite of the fighting ice cream. The three "swordsmen" are kinda cool. And I like the idea of truth versus ideals as pokemon.
But yet another fighting/fire....

What they need is an Ice wolf pokemon, and fire electric type, and the fisr fire water pokemon from space. Space pokemon, it's like pokemon, but in space.

And an ice wolf would be amazing! They need a wolf pokemon in general, though I always used to think Mightyena was one.
Fire-electric...ouch, explosions!

Fire-water? Eh? Sounds interesting, but what could it even look like?

I was about to say the water/fire pokemon would just be a cauldron of boiling water or something. But that sounds like something out of Okami or Dragon Quest.

A grass/fire type is just...weird. Like how does that work at all?

Leavanny's body+Chandelure's candles+Escavalier's head+Sunflora's feet

For some reason, this should be Sunflora evolution...

I don't fully understand why there is no fire/water pokemon.  Considering the move scald.  It would be perfect as a signature move for a pokemon like that.
