EDIT: Frenchfry, you mean you don't know what is Salad cream? Hm... maybe it's called another way in America.  In french it's named 'Mayonnaise' if that is any close to how you call it. Oh, and I have forgotten carrots they go well in there with some freshly prepared garlic. (just the right amount)

Well it's strange. I turn it on and it starts up, but my monitor doesn't recognize it or something cuz it doesn't show anything, but what I really can't figure out is why my keyboard won't come on because usually it will light up when it's ready to go which happens when the computer turns on, so if the computer will turn on why wont the keyboard? I checked all the cables and they r good too. So basically its this. Computer starts, monitor shows nothing, and keyboard won't start.

Hm... that could be an issue of the power supply unit indeed, as if it can't send enough power to the monitor.

but then, I'm curious about the keyboard... it should be on (generally) as it requires a little power only, like the mouse). If your mouse is optical, it's easy to know whether electricity is running though it or not.


But personally, I have a problem once a while at startup, the CPU is on, the monitor however stays on standby. I then press the restart button on my CPU and it's only then that my monitor switches on.

But if that's not that, sorry, I don't know.


In other news, I joined Ernst and Young, for those who didn't know :3 I'll be doing accountancy after all, well, more about audits and external audits, so I get to travel to many countries ;)
