Those who are active on the forums are more likely to be given access to new stuff, making it easier for them to contribute. Therefore, you guys are more likely to be given some credit. As it is, there will probably be some kind of credits list for everyone who has contributed.

You go to your profile, and under 'Profile Info' you look for Messages. You'll get a page will all your messages. Just go tot the last page and look at the number.
