Frenchfry would be aghast. None of you even PLAY Disgaea, except for Meowth, who I'd never allow in it if I had any say in the matter, and Silver, who still barely has a grip on the batpoop complex game mechanics.

Now, were Disgaea more popular, this would make sense. especially with unit creation and multiple netherworlds and whatnot.






As long as nobody Mary-Sued themselves into defeating Baal single handedly. That's just a no-no.

It just i have to klearn new unit trees, stat growths, weapons, items, item world, storyline, enemies, strengths, weaknesses, etc all again as its a style i havent played before.

I did all of that with fire emblem, I just have to do it again.

Also, the entire Dark Assembly, Reincarnation, Student-to-master skill transfusion...

Let's face it, Fire Emblem is simple in comparison. No, Fire Emblem is just simple. Disgaea is a lot like an animal. You can look at it from a casual view and say, "Oh, this is simple enough."
And you can learn to domesticate it, possible even breed and ride it. But to truly understand it, you need to get down and dirty. Dissect that mo'fo.

That's the wonder of Disgaea. You can play through the story mode with a decent challenge with minimal understanding of the game beyond unit creation and stats, but you'll never beat Zetta, Baal, or even Majorly without a fine knowledge of all the functions that most people don't even know about.
