Posts in the Other Chat forum don't add to your post count. This thread was made so that we can have discussions about random topics, without starting random threads in this forum about topics that will die in a few days. You're complaining about people using this thread to add posts to their post count, even though the first post says that they don't add to your post count. And if posts in this thread did make your post count go up, it would have been locked way before there were 5,000+ posts.
