I do like a few of the legendaries too, but they are kinda obvious to take with you. And there are dozens of other Pokémon that are also amazing.

I love my hail team from 4th gen
-Abomasnow (for hail, powerful sp attacks)
-Weavile (sweeper)
-Walrein (most awesome sponge EVAR)
-Swampert (takes damage but good counter to counters)
-Glaceon (sweeper)
-Mamoswine (physical tank)
