Well, just calculate how much damage Starmie and Lanturn would do to a pokemon (Blissey) with max Sp.Def and Starmie and Lanturn with max Sp. attack. That could help for the better choice.

Lanturn also has volt absorb, though, which means he can come in on an electric pokemon easier than Ludicolo.

Not only that, It would survive longer in a dbl battle with jolteon(or another lanturn)

Yeah, I started a doubles team once with one Lanturn with VA, and another with WA. One uses discharge, and the other uses surf. I never finished it, though.

Currently playing Pokemon XY/ORAS/Shuffle and Clash of Clans and testing out PokemonRevolutionOnline and Dragonmon Hunter....

Currently in my main party I have Samurott, Boldore, Excadrill, Leavanny, and Darmanitan. They're good, except I have problems with fighting types that use rock type attacks. Also I'm not really happy that I mostly have physical attackers. Aside from Samurott's surf attack. I'm enjoying all of them, though.
