Ah, I know what you mean, and yes, this is what happens when a forum dies. I've seen it with my first secondary school, and as always, I managed to get my post count the highest, I don't know how I do it, but it happens :-[

Then, I was promoted to gmod, but the forum already started dying. Then, spambots invaded the forum and to have better control, I was promoted to Admin so I could IP ban. Now the forum is closed (for registration) and the last date other admin was on was sometime in mid 2009.

Seems to be quite a regular thing then :/ its a shame when a community site dies. I had to deal with that spam bot thing also. Hated it, took about an hour to clean the site fully. But at least i managed to find what i was looking for, so not all bad.

Yes, once those come, it's even worse. Members don't want to post anymore, you get less registrations and the forum dies a slow death :(

Strangely enough, all those spambots post things concerning sex and all sorts of advertisements asking for people to email them, which of course, will result in them spamming your mailbox.

I can't see the point in spam bots myself. Its almost to obvious that they are spam, and only an idiot would deliberatly go messaging one. I get enough spam as it is, i don't need any bots clogging up my email account even more >_> even if the title is "woman wants to cheat on her husband!" Slightly disturbing that was actually an email i got lol

Maybe it's not possible... or maybe there are already but people have to buy it... I don't know >.<

Anyway, the current 'system' of PU is that they watch all the newbies making a first post. If it's okay, they will let it, if not, they ban and delete the post. I'm not sure what type of ban Bakagringo does though.
