I don't know. Cats are hard creatures to kill due to there flexibility and agility, not to mention they are smart creatures as well. It's no wonder the ancient Egyptians seen them as gods. Though they have cool characteristics, I am still a I'm surprised people would treat dogs in such savage ways. I owned four dogs over the years, and they lived long lives, and I always made sure they felt loved, had plenty of exercise, and plenty of food. Cats have never shown me the kind of affection a dog has shown me, so I am 100% for dogs.

Because Dogs require a lot of care, whereas cats are more 'independent'.

While I would openly say that I'd love to have a dog, I'm perfectly happy with a cat.

I like cats. But dogs are cute too. A few things I DON'T like, though, are spiders and wasps.

I personally prefer dogs to cats, although i like both for different reasons, Cats are probably better for people who can't spend as much time with their pet, because my cat pretty much spends all day outside somewhere. And i also don't know why people would mistreat any animal, especially dogs, whoare extremely trusting and will never hurt you unless you mistreat them.

Speaking on animal abuse (which i do not condone) did you know, that in the original Donkey Kong game, the one where he throws barrels down, that "Mario" was the bad guy? DK was mario's pet ape who Mario mistreated so DK ran away, taking peach with him.
