You have one and a half healers in the group. Hurt yourself as many times you please. I love to see blood from other units than myself. I could swim in a pool of blood if I wanted to.

She turned to the Prinny.

Come on prinny, or i'll throw you.

(Good idea.)

"C'mon, kids. Let uncle Cedric tell you a story on the road. It's a good one, too. All about a lady fighter and her four friends, and how they became the most powerful beings in this netherworld."
Do I smell exposition on the horizon?
Half of these people don't even know what a Demon Lord is. I think it's necessary.

Jericho watched the group with his colorless eyes from a tree about 50 yards from where they stood.  He silently chuckled to himself as they squabled with one another.
  That prinny looks pretty tasty.
He continued to watch in the thick of the leaves as they prepared to move on.

"Eh, I don't have much else to think about, Cedric. Let's hear it then."
By loving so many, I have touched their lives and helped them rebirth as well. To be strong is to instill strength in another.

Cedric rubbed his hands together, grinning slightly.
"Well, once upon a time, Yuiska wasn't an all powerful Overlord. In fact, she wasn't even a Demon Lord. She was Yui, a fragile little fighter in another netherworld's army. She was under command of a Ninja by the name of Sephiroth, who was unique as a ninja in that he was a born leader.
Now, Yui wasn't much of a good fighter. For her level, not bad. But by this time the rest of the army had already broken the 100 barrier, and she had only just begun her journey. Now, Sephiroth decided that it would be in his platoon's best interest if he took some time off to train Yui personally.
"For a while, nothing seemed out of the ordinary. Then, Sephiroth noticed something unique about Yui. Her defense and attack were substantially higher than should have been possible for her level. By the time she had caught up with the rest of the soldiers, she had the defenses of an Adamant Knight and the attack of a samurai."
Slow down there cowboy. I'm having trouble keeping up.
"Ugh... Am I going too fast for any of you, newbies?"

"Go on. My parents told me a little about demon lords, but not the juicy details."

This demon lord must be very strong. What makes you think even together we can stop him?

The fact that She wasn't defeated by the current overlord.
The thrill in playing a game does not come from our chances of winning. It is the weight and pressure of losing that fuels our fascination. It is why people challenge, why they gamble and why they compete. The adrenaline that comes from defying defeat is what motivates us.

"Alright... Well, anyway, Sephiroth decided to look into her heritage a bit. After extensive research and more than one oracle threatened, he discovered that Yui had gotten her Goddess-like powers from reincarnation. She had seven past lives as dragons, which added together, makes for one seriously kick-ass girl. Sephiroth told this to his other students, a star mage named Alice, a Heavy Knight called Domini, and a Hitman known entirely as The Stranger.
As Yui progressed through her levels, it became clear that she was above any petty army. Together with Sephiroth and the other students, she left that netherworld, laying claim to the legendary Gaea Spear and amassing even more power. She overthrew the Overlord of this netherworld, and became Yuiska, the tomboyish Overlord we know today. Sephiroth became her closest vassal, whose godlike speed is rumored to still be greater than Yuiska's strength. Sephiroth's three students became vassals as well, and they were dubbed The Four. Never away from Yuiska. Never away from us. Until now, anyway. She left to fight Baal, and took The Four with her."
How tear-jerking.

"Baal's the most powerful being in the universe. Being an Overlord, taking down someone with that kind of prestige is irresistible. SHE would inherit the title of 'Supreme Overlord'."
