Show stackable attacks
« on: February 04, 2010, 06:07:15 PM »
heya

sounds a bit... confusing so heres the explnation:

kakuna with harden:
in poke games you use till it has no effect. easier: make it 10 times usable and show it above your pokemon, how many stacks you have on.
the same with speed/attack increasing effects like agility. So you always know how often you can use it.

another suggestion:
make poison stack on pokemon, burning and so on as well. so you can use it more then 1 time:
1 stack 10 dmge
2 stacks 15 dmge
3 stacks 25 dmge
for example.

would make the fights more strategic.

The poison/burn/etc stack thing is a pretty good idea.

Hm this is a really cool idea, but it brings up the question of:

What happens when an Antidote/Burn Heal/whatever is used? Does it knock only one of the stacks out, or all of them?

You could make different lvls of antidot
lvl1: 1 poison effect
lvl2: 2 poison effects....

That would seem...a bit too much. It would probably be best just to have one antidote for all.

I agree this is a good idea and i think should be implemented if possible, but i also think that 1 poison potion should cure any lvl of stack ups.

Just because when you use an item in battle it takes up your turn, and no one's gonna waste every turn trying to make the burn lvl go any lower.

Lvl of Burn, Ect Stacks: thumbs up.
Lvl of Potions, ect: Thumbs Down.

I like the stack idea but like other have said one antidote for all the stacks would be better.
If tomatoe is a fruit would ketchup be a jam?

I support this idea, anything to increase the power of Poison and Fire pokes.
1 antidote for all.

this is a nice idea, i think an antidote or full heal etc. should just heal all of it, not take 1 stage off, thatd be too good.
