Mortecai left the lab and opened the map. It was a large one, showing more places than the kanto region.
Hmm, Johto. I think I'll go there. I never liked the Kanto region.
He sets out for Viridian City pokemon center, where from there, he'll head out to the Johto Region.

Looking at Schringer my ears lower down as I start being disappointed.
Me: "Riolu..." (Aw man.) "Rio Ri." (Probably not.)
Ralts: Well as far as I know about this whole Pokemon trainer thing...I didn't think it was up to me...
Looking back at Ralts not sure what to say on that one..

As he was walking on Route 1, a random rattata appeared.
Houndour needs to get to a pokemon center before I even think about battling.
Mortecai tries to run away, but he is hit by the sharp pain in his leg. The rattata leaves anyway, seeing as nothing is going to happen.
Alright, a little strange, but I'm so close.
He walks for a bit and reaches the Viridian City gate, and immediately sees the pokemon center. HE heads inside and walks up to the counter.
Hello, and welcome to our pokemon center. Would you like me to heal your pokemon?
Yes, my Houndour got caught in an unwanted battle.
He hands over the ball to the nurse.
We'll call you when your pokemon is healthy.
Mortecai nods and goes to find a seat. He pulls out his map to remind himself of his goal.

After some training both pidgey and caterpie were super tired.
me-I guess we could head back to the... pokecenter?
The pokemon nodded and I exited the grassy area, I walk out of the canopy of trees and into the town again. I headed for te building with the red roof and entered. I approached the counter and talk to the lady.
me-Umm could you-
?-Hello, would you like me to heal your pokemon.
me-I guess.
She takes my pokemon, I stand around waiting awkwardly.

As the trainer walked away, Warren pulled Charmander in front of him quickly checking for any signs of damage. He noticed a small purple scratch on Charmanders leg, Taking no notice of the scratch he began walking with Pikachu on his shoulder and Charmander walking beside his leg. After a moment Warren heard Charmander let out a shrill cry and collapse onto the ground, panicking he scooped Charmander up and began to dash across the forest. Within moments he had reached the edge of the forest, taking a second to gain a sense of direction he began running in the direction of the pokemon center. With the frantic way he was running he had reached the center in no time flat. He brushed a boy that looked very out of place out of his way, and then placed Charmander on the counter screaming
