I find it hard to choose between Squirtle and Totodile, can never decide between those two which one I like best, probably go with Totodile this time though =D

It seems that PU will have a huge population of Fire Trainers. From other threads, and this, I see quite a lot of love for the type.

 I think I'll choose Chimchar, becouse he's less popular than Cyndaquil and it'll be easier to trade his children for another starters xD

Todidile all the way, best moveset out of all of the starters nice stats @ a total beast; uu version of Gyarados.

Sceptile is one of the best grass types, even though it may seem bad, and not many people are going to choose Treecko.
