Mudkip. All the way. Competitively, Swampert is among the best of all the starters for its great tanking abilities and it was also my first starter since the 3rd gen (which I've still got in Black)
Treeko and Charmander are my next favourites for their pure awesomeness.
Everyone has the right to be stupid once and a while, but mate, you're abusing it.

I will agree feraligatr is a "beast", but Siny's final form (I think its Jalorda or somthing) has some special move that only Jalorda can use...

I'm picking mudkip.  Sapphire was the first game I can actually remember playing, and the mudkip I got was my first pokemon to reach lvl 100.

On that note, not all pokemon with a type disadvantage need to have a high level to be able to beat another with a type advantage. There are pokemon in such situations able to get the win :P
YES that is true once i somehow mangaed to beat the elite for with a nidoran on pokemon red i was like :o when i survived the first hit (the oppenent missing)(and not the actual leader just one of the E4)it was like a lvl 10 or something
good thing for poison sting  ;D

charmander FTW
