Hm... good guess but surprisingly maybe for you... no! XD
No one can go back and change a bad beginning; but anyone can start now and create a successful ending.
If a problem can be solved, no need to worry about it. If it cannot be solved what is the use of worrying?

Currently playing Pokemon XY/ORAS/Shuffle and Clash of Clans and testing out PokemonRevolutionOnline and Dragonmon Hunter....

for me, probably Cyndaquil, mostly because I think it is really cute and I love pokemon, too bad I cannot stay with an Eevee though because Flareon is my favorite pokemon of all :)

well can we all agree that fire starters are the best no matter what generation.

Eh, they're the best up until Tepig. Emboar was a bit of a letdown...  :-\

I'll probably go with either Charmander or Cyndaquil.

It is what it is.

grass starters are always the best water starters are second best always and fire starters nare always the third best but in the end of the game its better to have the fire typestarters or the water types it fliips u see i think feraligtr was the best starter to be honest with you all but i always choose the fastest starter despite its type

First off, you need to work on grammar and spelling.
Second, what you're saying isn't always true.  Grass isn't always the best option. Sure, in some regions it's the better choice if you're basing it on the gym leaders, but not always.  For example, in Johto., the first two gym leaders are flying and bug types, which are both strong against grass pokemon. Koga, one of the elite 4, has poison type pokemon, which are effective against grass.  So you see, grass wouldn't always be the be the best choice.
I don't understand why you say that water and grass are always better than fire starters.  Fire pokemon tend to be stronger than other types, so I wouldn't say they are the third best option.
When you sum it up, I don't think one starter type is better than the other.  It all depends on a persons personal preferences (try saying that ten times fast).

Okay a real quick question, why do we have so many charmanders? I am starting to hope that he is not gonna be in the beta.

Because people really like charizard. Like alot.  Just choose a water type Meowth, you'll easily destroy the Charmanders.

judging by the poll results over half of the people voted for a fire type.

For me this is beneficial, I've always disliked the grass starters, well save for snivy simply because I love serperior. Now I'm torn, I love blastoise, squirtle was my first pokemon ever, but feralligatr is also beastly. So now the choices for me are either squirtle or totodial, sorry if this seams a little meta.
I gonna be the very best Like no one ever was!
Watch out for my tank team cause we'll roll ya.

me personally i love charizard but i hate charmander and charmeleon and the same with all the other fire starters the third form is the only reason any of them are worth anything the waters are the 2nd best in basic form then they become 1st best in second form wartorle rules and then fire dominates third forms
