That's mostly true I suppose. Even with Meganium having higher base stats in comparison to Serperior, I always beat anyone with a Meganium with my Serperior. I guess it's all about the the EV's, IV's, and strategy.

And I doubt they would have, even if that seems likely. I'm pretty sure the company was trying to keep each starter as unique as possible. And the snake lord's name is Serperior.  :)

Ah, okay. I miss the Battle Tower so much...(Ahem, sorry, getting off topic).

About the Starter Pokémon, Iit's hard to decide which one I like most. I really like some of them and can't choose betweent them. XD

Is there any chance that someone could start with something other than a traditional starter pokemon? say.... a vulpix? I mean this in the sense that you don't catch one, but instead are given one as a starter instead of the usual bulbasaur or chimchar.

The reason why I chose Charmander
Is because it is the only starter that can FLY when it evolves up to Charizard..
Every time I think of Charizard, I think, "He would make a great addition with my Dragon Pokemon!"
(Dragon type is my favorite)
This is my reason for choosing Charmander out of the 200+ votes for this cutie <3
