Gotta be Gyarados :D and not just because he's a dragon, it's because he is strong, evolves from a lowly Magikarp and looks the best.

I chose Bulbasaur because I like the Solar Beam attack (of course in a sunny day  :P :P ) and because he is a starter (and may I say underrated)... that's what I always choose
