Title: [Official News] generation 5 Pokemon (Roaming Legendaries.)
Post by: Kamaran on February 08, 2010, 08:32:30 AM
CoroCoro’s Website Shows New Pokemon’s Silhouette As Well - New Theories!

Read the news here (http://pokebeach.com/2010/02/corocoros-website-shows-new-pokemons-silhouette-as-well) (Updates (http://pokebeach.com/2010/02/new-pokemon-revealed-zorua-zoroark))

Credits to Rda and Drpepper245 for this.

Now in colours.

We expect another generation 5 pokemon or two revealed as soon as on the 10th. I'll update with some pictures when they are available.

Quote from: www.pokebeach.com
Pokemon Sunday just finished airing! For next week's episode preview (May 9th's), hostess Shokotan was shown holding up a poster with a question mark covering it, as you can see below. It was then explicitly stated that a new Pokemon from Pokemon Black and White will be revealed.
As with Zoroark, the show will probably only show a silhouette at first (on the 9th) and then reveal the Pokemon in full during their next episode (the 16th). However, CoroCoro magazine will probably have the Pokemon in their May 15th issue, which will likely be leaked on the Internet around the 10th or 11th. So, we should know what the new Pokemon or Pokemon forme is within the next two weeks! What could it be?
Additional Information:
TV Tokyo's description for May 16th's Pokemon Sunday episode states that the show will be announcing special fifth generation news: "Pokemon Black and White's three starters, shocking battle scenes, and more will be revealed to the public!"

SO HERE THEY ARE!!

About an hour ago, the official Japanese Pokemon website and Pokemon.com simultaneously revealed the Legendary mascots of Pokemon Black and White: Reshiram and Zekrom; these will be both their English and Japanese names. Contrary to their color schemes, Reshiram is Pokemon Black's mascot while Zekrom is White's. The Japanese site also revealed that the games will be released in Japan in September whereas the English website stated we would see their release in Spring 2011.

From Pokemon Sunday which just ended;

The June CoroCoro images are apparently beginning to leak now. We only have one photo so far, which reveals two new Pokemon. We're not sure if the photo is fake at this point, but we'll keep updating this news story as we discover more information and images. Right now, the image below is too blurry to read - we can barely make out the Pokemon's names.
The white Pokemon is named Chiramii | It is the Chinchilla Pokemon, a Normal-type. Its abilities are Cute Charm or Technician and it knows a new movie called "Sweep Slap."
The pink Pokemon we only see partially is named Munna
The gear-like Pokemon below is called Giaru

We will only put the new generation in the game when we have all the data on every Pokémon.

The new pokemon is dark type and called Zoroark, with a pre evolution named Zorua. The new movie is also called Phantom champion Zoroark now.

I got this info from http://serebii.net/index2.shtml

It'd be cool, but probably take a while, considering the game isn't even announced for release yet, and even when released , that's a lot of sprite work and scripting, but I'm sure you guys would do an overhaul patch of some sort  :P

I just have to post this; Zorua looks very cute  :D (When the 5th. generation comes to PU I'll be shure to catch it), and a werewolf pokemon is an interesting idea. I wonder if there'll be a vampire pokemon as well.... But let's not get to carried away. PU hasn't started as a game jet, so let them deal with one goal at time... They'll get to 5th. generation, afet it's completly out (as Mr_Dark said many times - all items, all pokemon).

Look what I found;

(this is just the part I love the most)
...So yea, also Evee and his new other evolutions will come out.
And a special one where he holds a new stone called Admant stone
Only a special stone for Evee where he's A normal/flying.
His other forms that will come out is steel, ghost, and poison.
There's gonna be so many new pokemon that we will not expect ...

A FLYING FORM OF EEVEE!! YaY ;D I wished for that when Diamon/Pearl was coming out!

Thanks Rda, Drpepper245 and Kamaran for posting this!

Hmm, I'm not sure if that Eevee information is reliable. Up to now, the evolved forms of Eevee never got to more than three. Since you are saying four new 'Eevolutions', I doubt that is true.

But I can't say it's 100% real (I wish it was), still if you read the largest post in this forum, it makes a lot of sensse, but all we can do now is guess...

Ok, you did see the first line it seems, besides the title.

I'll quote:

Quote
In this Club talk about what we want in the new Generation of 5 of Pokemon and any new news for this new Generation.

Also, post number 15, the one who post what you were saying said:

Quote
The plot and stuff may be fake but it's what someone heard some it ain't officially true.

Meaning the poster is not use himself.

Lastly the thread was closed, maybe because it was misleading? Anyway, I doubt that more than 3/4 is true about it.

Just wanted to let you know that;

We expect another generation 5 pokemon or two revealed as soon as on the 10th. I'll update with some pictures when they are available.

There are some different sceneries on what it could be:

I would say that:

is more likely, but that's just my opinion. I know that we are getting content updates on BW on the 10th and the 15th, so I look forward to seeing what it is.

Silhouette of starter pokemon have been revealed. Kamaran may you do the honor

This data was just released, and as such, has very few articles relating to it yet, but from what I have read, people so far seem to think that the one on the left is grass, the top one is fire, and the right one is water; I have to disagree, i think the top one is grass, and the left one is fire, but I honestly wouldn't be surprised if the three starters aren't fire/water/grass this time around.
I guess we will have to wait to find out.

But here is some other interesting information I just located, and would like to draw everyone's attention to, even if it isn't true, as it just seams like a fascinating, potential bit of knowledge pertaining to Black and White.
linky (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U_KVw-14oNI&feature=related)
You might also notice that the buildings in the middle are black and white.....who know's if this is foreshadowing, or hinting at gen 5? It wouldn't be the first time Nintendo has made references to pokemon games that weren't out yet.
Title: Re: [Official News] generation 5 Pokemon
Post by: Jerry on May 09, 2010, 12:48:18 PM
At first sight, I thought that the left one was grass because of the tail... but no, I came to the conclusion that it must be the fire type (at least, if Nintendo keeps the Fire/Grass/Water type starters)

The round one is sure to be water, and the top one seems to have leaves on its head, hence grass type.

So, I agree with what you think spirit.
Title: Re: [Official News] generation 5 Pokemon
Post by: Declan_23 on May 09, 2010, 02:01:40 PM
Personally I think the left one is water (kinda looks like a duck), the top one is grass  (looks like a bunny or something) and therefore the right one has to be fire (doesn't really look like anything)

Someone posted that image to match the sillhouettes... So... Yeah. I'm not sure if they're 100 percent real or not; The fire starter looks very iffy to me. The water starter looks like a pig Marrill. The only one I like so far is the grass starter...

They are all hideous; this coming from someone who frequently works with sprites. I honestly think these are the ugliest starters we've ever had.

They better evolve into something freaking amazing to make up for it.

I think it follows 'ying-yang' as Reshiram represents 'Black', in the middle of which is white, and vice versa.

Buy both! Buy both! Buy both!

That's probably the subliminal messaging in the commercials. I'll get one and just trade for the others. Being a breeder, I almost always have something someone wants.

The attacks still look meh at best, but at least they took advice from the gaming community and put in battle animations so it doesn't feel so static. If they give an option to speed battles up or make them flashier, I think I'm going to enjoy this game.

Updated first post.

Quote from: www.pokebeach.com
The June CoroCoro images are apparently beginning to leak now. We only have one photo so far, which reveals two new Pokemon. We're not sure if the photo is fake at this point, but we'll keep updating this news story as we discover more information and images. Right now, the image below is too blurry to read - we can barely make out the Pokemon's names.
The white Pokemon is named Chiramii
The pink Pokemon we only see partially is named Munna
Please note that these might be fakes.

Nah, I don't think radiation would do well... things that give away radiation are unstable, and hence with time, the pokemon should become less powerful, and then less and then less even.

Oh, concerning the machinery pokemon, there is 'Porygon' which is considered to be man made.

Wow, triple battles? THAT is going to take some getting used to, just like double battles were. Really looking forward to building competitive teams for a brand new battle style.

I've never been one to complain about Pokemon designs, even though I've always doubted a bit whether or not I could actually learn to like them from gen to gen. Hell, there were even some gen 2 Pokemon I thought I'd never get used to, but it's always turned out fine in the end. All in all looking really good; I just don't know why they're not going for the 3DS on this one. Doesn't seem to make much sense really.

I have to admit; I'm surprised. Some, keyword being some, of those new Pokemon look interesting. Like they actually have thought behind them. One of the main reason that I didn't like Gen 4 was because of the lackluster designs behind most of the sprites. (And I don't mean Bibarel.) It just felt like they didn't care about the Pokemon that generation.

These, though, definitely required a smidgeon of thought. True, they are starting to look like Digimon, but what do I care? I loved Digimon when I was a kid. (Still might, haven't checked...) I don't see them looking like Digimon as being a bad thing. Really, how could they not be eventually? The same way that, given enough time, Digimon would have started looking like something else.

Either way, the mole thing is what I'm interested in. Dark/Steel? Fire/Steel? Ground/Steel? I can't tell, but it intrigues me.

The pokemon near that unknown man look like evoltuions of Mijumaru and Tsutaja, and they both look pretty nice. Really excited for official releases on all this.

Hey Kamaran, if you want I can take care of this place for a while, because I check Serebii and Pokebeach daily anyway, I don't know if I can find all the info you missed but I can take care of the new information and post most of the old. If not that is fine too.

The American Flag Eagle is probably the coolest one I've seen. Some of the others look interesting too, like the little pokemon with green stuff surrounding it making it look bigger than it is.

These leaks are quite unsatisfying.

As for most of them, Im hoping a few of these poke's arn't real. Just thrown in there to throw the Public off the trail of the real (slightly more awesome) pokemon.

I don't think Lucario is the kind of pokemon you should get near the beginning. He's a bit strong for that.

Lucario is a very popular pokemon. Not without reason, though. A powerful stab attack that doesn't miss, several resistances, and a good movepool.

I like Zekrom's look better too, but a dragon/fire type facinates me. I have always wanted them to make one, though the fact that it's a legendary ruins some of the enjoyment. I kind of wanted a regular pokemon so I could breed it. Oh well. At least they've finally made a fire type that isn't weak against water attacks.

Looks like they made another electric/flying type. Though whether it evolves into a strong pokemon or not remains uncertain. From its initial looks, it's probably not powerful in that stage.

The Deer has indeed multiple forms.

The monkey however doesn't. Why? Because they are three different pokemons.

Yanappu - Grass - Grass Monkey Pokemon - 0.6m - 10.5kg - Gluttony. It knows Acrobat.

Baoppu - Fire - High Temperature Pokemon - 0.6m - 11.0kg - Gluttony. Knows a new move called "Flame Burst" which damages nearby opponents.

Hiyappu - Water - Wave Splash Pokemon - 0.6m - 13.5kg - Gluttony. Knows a new move called "Boiling Water" which is Water-type but can Burn.

They are used to promote the 3v3 battles and most likely also in the first gym in the games. (You'll only battle the one that has an advantage upon your starter.)

Seriously? They made another fire/fighting starter? I mean it was cool when they made Blaziken, and I don't bash Infernape, but this will not fly.

I'm glad the final evo of the water starter looks cool, though. *whew* Though the mustache looks a little silly, it looks like this will be an offensive water type.

I wonder why they made every grass starter based on reptiles.

A water type attack that causes a burn? Interesting. I think that's the first move, sans tri attack, that causes burns but isn't a fire type move. I think it's good that they're coming out with water moves that induce status effects.

That's a good point. I just hope that the monkeys evolve to more powerful creatures, otherwise they'll wind up like Plusle and Minun. No serious battler would use them because they're too weak. Fortunately the three monkeys are different types, so they won't all go down to one attack like the two mice wil to earthquake.

So far, nothing was said that could hint that any Gen V pokemon were any of the previous pokemon's evolution. I'll go by that that no Gen V pokemon are evolution of past generations of pokemon.

Not even Mamanbou, or Baffuron are the evolutions of Luvdisc and Tauros respectively.

No Eevee evolutions either :(

What do you want? They want to make money... they send the Japanese version first, since the US/EU versions come later, they know that some people will buy the JAP version in the meanwhile and later buy the US/EU version... That's business... :(

Yeah, there was also Buffuron that could have been an evolved form of Tauros. I wonder if this would be the first generation that didn't add to the evolution list of past gen pokemon.

I'm not ticked about the game taking so long to get translated. Mainly because pokemon isn't my favorite series. Now if you want to talk about the Wii port of Twilight Princess? I can chew that out. You know, on another thread or PM somewhere.

It looks like they'll take about as long as they took to translate Diamond and Pearl; September to April. Red and Blue took about two years to be released in America, so there's no need to complain now.

JohnnyXtreme is right, I am wrong, that, and I can't think of a better response than: "No you"

Actually it was supposed to be a response to Mr. Pokemon telling me to get out. It seems I overlooked his post.

Dude, no offense, but I'd listen to him.... He can materialize any image.... Even the dragon in his signature. One day, its going to ravage Japan, and then take every Awesome game thats there..... along with a Japanese-English Translator Chip.

Can anyone recognize a joke?
Pokemon isn't my favorite series either, but it is up there. I actually don't know what my favorite series is.

I've lost my self, actually. Yet to find a picture of Baffuron, either. I wanted to compare Tauros to it.
