Yeah, sorry about that. I'm good with ideas but not good at following through with them. I'd still love to do something like that, and it could lean towards another idea that could get PO back and active, (for whomever was saying we need to do something to all get together or get more active? IDR, it was one of the front threads).
In either case, eddie, you're very welcome to join. If you can't Skype that's okay, it's actually appreciated in that it will help keep the thread alive so we can talk. I also love your idea of Tetris, always loved the game.

Soul
Ash beckoned him over, asking him to watch over Misty. He was surprised to be entrusted with such a task, considering he knew, (if only slightly), how much Misty meant to Ash. The guy tossed him his phone, saying to call Stan and explain the situation. He was still a little dazed by everything, but he kept it hidden, not wanting anything to take him by surprise.
As soon as he turned the phone on, however, the opponent who had left such marks on Misty walked over and grabbed his arms. Soul caught the movement out of the corner of his eye, but the full of the situation was at the front of his mind. Oh shi- Not gunna happen. Holding the phone in his right hand, he aimed a quick jab at the attackers stomach with his left. Not waiting for results, he ducked underneath the two's clasped arms, used his left to push Misty away, and went to elbow the jerk in the chin. He may be younger, but he was just as large as the other and was prepared to do what was needed to keep himself and Misty safe.

Soul
Dazed by the sudden rush of information coupled by Ash shoving himself through the crowd, Soul stood gaping for a moment before he realized that everyone in a battle was still in danger. His attention darted from battle to battle, making sure no one was incapacitated entirely, and found that Dagen seemed unperturbed by the happenings.
He looked over the crowd, barely getting a glimpse of what appeared to be Misty, sprawled on the floor, crying and cradling her arms. Her opponent, the one who Soul remembered to be somewhat of a pyrotechnic, seemed indifferent to what he had caused. Soul scowled, but knew he could do nothing to help. He did, however, shuffle closer to the general cluster of arenas, in case anyone was in need of immediate attention should their battle end.

Soul
The stone- boy noticed a change in the atmosphere, not just the air but the entire crowd seemed to tense as one. Ash seemed to be on guard for something, but what it was Soul couldn't tell. He turned to ask, Is everything...
As he did, a shift in the battlers and the arena's they battled on was apparent. The dragons on each stage roared in unison, signaling their appearance. That can't be safe. Almost immediately after, each battler seemed to wince through their sync, as if actual pain permeated their beings. I don't mean to be rude but if there's something that's putting everyone in danger, including ourselves, I'd like to know. He gave the older battler an intense look, not to be intimidating, but rather inquiring and concerned.

Soul
He looked up at Ash, and grabbed his hand, pulling himself up. I knew I wouldn't win, I just wish I could've done better. But, what can I expect? You're the son of a champ. That and the map was a little unfair, but I like the challenge of the banned maps, makes things fun. Soul shook his head. And I'm not weak, nor moping. Just contemplating.
He looked over to see that most of the other battles were still going on, and a scowl crossed his face, then vanished. Soul chuckled to himself. What kind of luck did I have to face you in the first round?

The dragon finally emerged, in a burst of sound and movement that MegaMan hadn't anticipated. It's massive tail rushed through the air, crushing the rock behind him as it sent him hurting across the arena. He slammed into the far wall, his vision flickering and shattering as though it were a TV screen that was broken with a hammer. He struggled to right himself, barely in time to see the dragon flailing about and his opponent rushing in his direction, sword raised.
Barely conscious of his actions, MegaMan raised his right hand and slightly pushed with his left, resulting in his left shoulder being impaled, millimeters from his CPU. His vision flickered again, and he gave a grave smile, aware of his dire situation.
MegaMan opened his eyes in a fierce glare, flared his nostrils in a combination of anger, thrill, and adrenaline. Mustering his entire being into his voice, he shouted DOUBLE HERO!, sending an echo across the entire cavern. In a burst of light, his two arms changed to form his two weapons, preparing to attack.
His vision flickered once again, and the blue warrior's head drooped, before he desynced, his energy reserves depleted.
Soul
Soul opened his eyes, and his knees buckled, sending him down to one knee. His own vision flared, stars crossing his line of sight. He gripped his hand into a fist and punched the floor beneath him, and bit his lower lip hard enough to draw blood. He cursed to himself, disappointed in himself.

The cave rumbled, signaling the approach of the dragon. At this point, he knew exactly what his plan was. It may not work, but it was his best shot. That dragon's going to be my partner for a second. Just to wait.

Despite hiding behind the rock, the machine could feel the cold stare of the forest warrior boring into his entire being. The nerves were beginning to set in. Not only was Ash an intimidating opponent, but his astral had the eyes of a wolf, and a ferocity to match. Just, have to wait.

As soon as flames had re-illuminated the arena, the green warrior flung himself in the blue bomber's direction, attacking with a straight stab. MegaMan barely had enough time to counter, but he turned enough so he could move his Buster barely enough to partially block the stab. What this resulted in was the sword slicing through his right arm, resulting in a pixelated effect. Now's best...
MegaMan changed the Buster into his Energy Sword, still below Link's sword, and slashed in the direction of his body before jumping backwards and retracting the Sword to hide once again. Crap, I know we want to try to win but how? The best we can do is wait and counter-attack. MegaMan shifted behind the rock to give his left arm more air.
Next best chance I get, I'm using it. You've gotta be kidding me. We've only ever practiced it! On dummies at that. Not something that can think for itself. It's the best chance.

The arena was constantly bathed in a fiery light, as flames would erupt from the ground, as though the arena was on top of a dormant volcano. He tried to focus to see if the flames were more than just random, but his nerves got the best of him. Not much longer, as the flames died down yet again, MegaMan could hear a short twang. His nerves still on high, he dove in the direction he was facing, going into a forward roll.
He barely caught it but whatever was fired at him struck the rocks they stood on, and a small spark was created, literally shedding light on the weapon: an arrow. Though it was only an instant, he could form a trajectory from the image. Thank the nerds for making me a program. He fired some warning shots towards where his math told him the arrow came from.

Soul and MegaMan
Ash gave him some encouraging words, but they didn't do much to calm his nerves. He pressed his Sync Band and his Sync Mark on the back of his shoulder began to glow a faint slate-ish color. It sort of tingled, like a sense of forewarning.
MegaMan opened his eyes, though he wouldn't have known if he hadn't seen the occasional fire from the arena. "It just gets more and more challenging!" He thought to use the Energy Blade for light, but then thought against it. MegaMan agreed silently, but said to him a few seconds later, "Use the Buster for now, a shot will give much more sight in terms of distance and won't give us away quite as easily. Use the Sword only once he's found us." They nodded and materialized the Buster, waiting for a sound or a sight of the opponent.

Dagen turned to the voice behind him, which happened to be Soul. "Oh, hey, what's up? Yeah, not really looking to fight anyone in particular so long as I compete. Last night was kind of a drag, but what can we do?"
Le GM Post: Underground Phase Two- Battle Among Dragons
A voice was heard out of nowhere.
"Welcome, fighters, to round one part two. Due to last night's.... interruption, we are forced to repeat yesterday, but with a different lineup, and a whole new map. Fighters, when your name is called, approach the stations, and commence battling.
Names were listed off, and fighters were heading to their places. Among them, these names stood out the most:
Ash vs Soul
Nexalas Vs Yume
Midou vs Misty
The Grey Fox vs Dagen
Sal vs Denis
Lai vs John
"As a consolation, all fighters will receive tilted treetops as an arena. Todays prize, $1000 and an entry into the qualifiers. Your battles will take place in Dragon's Lair. Beware of the beast within."
Dagen and Sal
Sal approached his station and was waiting for his foe.
Dagen jumped up with a smile. "Good luck Soul. We should meet up tomorrow, hang out a bit." He ran over to his station, and waited for his opponent.
Soul heard a flurry of names and recognized a few among them, including his own. Dagen left to engage in his own match. He called after him, " Win your match and I'll buy us lunch!" with a smirk, along with the thought that he would probably buy it either way. Then he hurried over to his station and faced Ash, one of the greatest fighters he would probably ever meet. With a curt nod, Soul held up his arm and waited for Ash to get ready. " There goes the prize money for me I'll bet, but more importantly I've wanted this map for a while. I'll just battle Dagen for it tomorrow.

Soul
Soul was waiting for the next event to begin, again with his hoodie up to hide himself. It was such a sudden event too, probably nobody expected it. But, as evident by the same faces from the previous night, he could tell that everyone was excited for tonight as well. He noticed the blonde girl acting a little strange next to Nexalas and his friend from the warehouse. He saw a big brute of a man shaking his head to the Stranger. "So now he's in the know as well."
Looking around again he spotted Dagen, surprised that he was there so quickly after the previous incident. He walked over and held his hand up for a fist-bump, and wanted to ask, "Hey, how're you feeling from earlier?", but what actually came out of his mouth was, "Who're you looking to fight with now?
