OP is either 'Original Post' or 'Original Poster' depending on how it is used.

Declan posted a good suggestion. This way, you don't have to post your work again and again, but only include your latest work with the last modifications.

My comment on the road/desert path: the red hurt my eyes though... could they be a little closer to the brown of the soil, or a little more orange?

I can change everything but there is no point if I don’t get a job here and I don’t think these are going to make it in the game anyways without modifying them allot. ;D

don't think like that you would have to learn the style that Alias uses for the possible end result of pu tiles

Well, mapping might not be difficult, but it takes skills to make a good map. The map should be original, seem real, with enough (good) randomness in the case of natural features, etc. And that also depends on the taste of people, so, it's more or less subjective :-\

Without pixel artist for this game the mappers would be nothing, and if you think about it mapping is a degraded Halo forge system with 100 time the amount of space as in when you put something down in halo it doesnt snap in place. Now im not saying that the pecies snap in, im saying it doesnt take skill to put something 2d in the correct place and thats doesnt make a good map but when you have the skill to forge in Halo a good map (I know a good map when I see one) this becomes simple. Now what I dont get is Y not combined the 2 jobs other than making pixel art is time consuming. Now im not dissing mapping but it sounds to simple unless they have to program the map (pokemon, location, level, what kinds,...), but if not all of the above it is simple.  ::) Heres the dojo edited.

one of the reasons you were turned down could be the fact that you use paint, using other programs, such as gimp or paint.net or photoshop, makes it easier to get the desired effects on certain tiles

GIMP is what I work with, and the first better than paint program I used. I love it! :P

Tthe bottom left side of the dojo has a few mistakes.... well not a few just one check out the paint job on that part, you'll notice some baige-orange spots that are not supposed to be there (compared to the opposite side which you didn't put any of those spots)

And like jerry said, the red path can be improved. The red path does not suite the dojo. You see the color of the ground next to it? (of course you do your not blind and you made it yourself hehe) well make it like that BUT a little bit darker (you don't have to its just a suggestion).
