Crimson decided not to bother with him.  He ran off to find another cave to capture.

Stefan moved to the armory, looking through the small firearms. From left to right, there was a 1911, a .44 Revolver, two Desert Eagles, which made him cringe. Nobody with even a sub par knowledge of guns would ever use one of those. There was also a Makarov and a GSR.
Noting the increase in variety of firearms available, he picked up the 1911. It was more accurate, as far as he knew, and accuracy was what mattered to a new shooter.
Maybe she can get a revolver when she's a bit better of a shot.
Returning to the infirmary, he waited either for the game to end or for Astrid to get whacked.

After entering the cave, Calx released the girl and lay on the ground., with his rifle pointed to the opening
"You just stay behind me, and nothing is getting in here with this thing pointed in their direction."
The thrill in playing a game does not come from our chances of winning. It is the weight and pressure of losing that fuels our fascination. It is why people challenge, why they gamble and why they compete. The adrenaline that comes from defying defeat is what motivates us.

Kain was about to stab Rex when he suddenly teleported. Kain saw Renegade, who challenged him. Then someone killed Renegade and ran away. Kain dropped his spear and picked up his pistol. He fired three rounds at him, hoping to get a few more kills before he died.

Crimson was running off when he heard gun shots behind him.  Suddenly there was a piercing jolt of pain in his left arm and right hamstring.  He looked back and saw the guy with a spear, only now he had a pistol.  Crimson reached into his pocket Only two shurikens left. He pulled one out and threw it at his face.

Kain was hit in the face by a shuriken. He teleported, and woke up in the infirmary.
I need to work on my accuracy
Kain walked to the shooting range and shot the targets with his rifle and pistol. He got a little bit better, but he still needed to work on his accuracy some more.

Crimson sighed with relief.  I got lucky there. If I had missed he would have had me for sure.  Crimson struggled to get up.  He leg still hurt from the bullet.  He then limped toward the next cave up ahead.

Calx notices a head beginning to emerge from lower down the hill, he aims, and fires.

Kain had gotten lazy, apparently. He walked past Stefan in the direction of the armory and training rooms.
Astrid had gotten Stefan thinking. This whole Omnicide thing... did he really plan on staying here for the rest of his life? A lot of people get killed because of Omnicide, just from the executions. This Astrid girl... just the environment might be enough to kill her.

The had to get out, sooner or later.

Crimson drew closer to the cave.  Suddenly it all seemed to stop.  The last thing he saw was a guy with a gun.  He woke up in the infirmary So that's what dying by a bullet to the head feels like...

Crimson poof'd onto the bed across from Stefan.
"Howdy, new guy. How's team Rex treating ya'?"

Kain stopped shooting, and went to get something to eat. He wished he could get out of Omnicide. He wondered if the war was still going on. He finished eating and walked around, not even knowing where he was walking. He was completely lost in thought.

Calx sits up, with his back to the wall of the cave, and empty magazine drops out of his M82 and slides his last magazine in.
ten rounds left...
"You! take this!"
He slides one of his 2 9mm Beretta customs over to the girl.
"Just in case something happens to me" he smiles
"But I want it back"

I really, really hate teleporting.
Deccers looked around, hospital beds lined the walls, where downed men reappeared one by one.
I wonder which bastard killed me. I'll have to watch the highlights later.
After dumping his kit back in the dorm he hit the gym, trying to beat the rush at the end of the day. As he'd thought, the place was empty save for a loner on the bench press. Picking his way through discarded dumbells and weights, he headed towards the rowning machine.

'I guess I should thank you for saving my arse back there.'
Deccers spun round, he hadn't recognised Robbo without his armour on, although, his two-handed sword leant against the wall nearby. The African man was tall, seeing eye to eye with Deccers, his arms and chest were roped with thick muscles. He would have looked more at home wearing a grass skirt and wielding a spear.
'Yeah I guess you should.'
He took a seat and began to strap his feet in.
'You know, with your skills, we could split Team Nova between us.'
'Yeah, and are you going to tell me why would I want to do that?'
'With your commanding experience, you could keep some of those poor lads alive. You're not a bad person, otherwise I'd have been toast much earlier. Staff Sergeant.'
Deccers stopped mid-stroke.
'What do you know?' He managed to whisper, trying to regulate his breathing.
'I see I have your attention. We'll talk later, Deccers.'
Robbo turned and walked out.
'I never told you my name.'
At the door he paused.
'I know.'
