Well lets First Start Off with news, so make another thing that say's new's so, we get all the latest buzz.Next To make it more official, you should make. Contact Us. Next you should make a game play video. Next the logo. come think about it. all it say's is           
                                                                                                Pokemon
                                                                                                universe
With a star over it. what i think it should look like is. In the middle of  HOME COMMUNITY THE GAME DOWNLOADS CHAT SUPPORT is Pokemon Universe and the letter's inside look like part's of the world, and there should be a shooting star over it. and that's how i think the logo should look.
and those are my ideas. hope you like them

Probably they will use that for new?
Otherwise, like Kamaran already said, there is a topic with weekly updates ;]

The logo? There already is one.. Maybe you didn't notice, but it's at the top of the website =3
