Finding pokemon
« on: September 19, 2011, 01:28:25 AM »
I was wondering, would there be something to help us find certain pokemon? Or there are certain times of the day to find a certain pokemon we want.

Like I'm hoping it wont be too difficult to find a pikachu, because it's a pokeom I really want x) I had an extremely difficult time finding one in PWO in their viridian forest, but in another game it wasn't that hard to find as they had a list of where to find it and in what time of day.

Sorry if it's difficult to understand >.<

I love pikachu (:

The pokedex will be the main tool. There might be other things implemented, like seasons, day/night, quests and other systems brought up as suggestions since the forum was made. I can't say for sure, but you will be able to get/catch every pokemon one way or another, except legendaries.
No one can go back and change a bad beginning; but anyone can start now and create a successful ending.
If a problem can be solved, no need to worry about it. If it cannot be solved what is the use of worrying?

Oh yes thats what i figured, but dont we have to see the pokemon first before it's in the pokedex? I wanna be able to catch a pikachu asap x) even if it means staying in the viridian forest looking for it, (ive been trying to in PWO) just hoping it wont be too difficult (:

I love pikachu (:

Just a heads up, we will be using our own area, so no Kanto, Hoenn, etc. You might be able to look for pikachu in a forest, but it won't be the Viridian forest.

That's a really good question, maybe this won't be needed in PU? (it's probably easier for implenting too.)

And there are NPCs and quest which will make some of them (I don't know if all of them) visible in your Pokedex in case it works the same way as in the traditional games :)

Ahh, okay I see well aha thanks for the information (:
I'm just hoping it would be a bit easier to find our favourite pokemon, it's such a drag trying to find them when they're are only a small chance to see them x)

I love pikachu (:
