Poke-Economy
« on: October 17, 2011, 05:51:54 AM »
Is there any word on how the economy will work in this game? Do we just go around and beat other trainers or are there other ways to make money?

Battles, selling items, making the items which you will then sell, completing certain quests, etc, etc.
No one can go back and change a bad beginning; but anyone can start now and create a successful ending.
If a problem can be solved, no need to worry about it. If it cannot be solved what is the use of worrying?

Basically the standard MMO Economy.

I'm really hoping that leaving your pokemon at the Day Care won't be the only way to breed them. Maybe there should an option to buy a house/farm and letting your pokemon run free/have copious amounts of ditto sex

Gyms make money? No, plus you cannot be a gym leader.

Stores is still not decided and I personally don't see why I would go to a daycare service if I can create my own daycare service...

i thought i erased gyms lol sorry, but of course it would have to be a very far experience type ordeal inorder to open a daycare and a store sort of a thing to show experience and earn cash

perhaps we could do something along the lines of purchasing a already made store or paying for the build, or even complete several high level needing missions to unlock the opportunity. either way i'd be happy to see any way of mass money making :D

Stores (or Player Shops) have been suggested already here: http://pokemon-universe.com/index.php/topic,3707.msg83149.html#msg83149
Feel free to read up about it if you like.

much obliged i would enjoy the version of your suggestion but would you have to be online to trade, sell, etc..? i would (as im sure others would too) enjoy a way of earning currency during offline hours
